zab was never in floyd's league and it showed in their fight. cotto will get done the same way. just not skilled enough
Wrong! Before the mele started, by Floyd's camp if i may add, Judah was right there with Floyd, but during the mele were Judah got choked by one of Floyd's henchmen to a point were Judah almost passed out, that's when the table turned on Judah. Remember that Judah rocked Floyd during that fight as well and that fight went to distance, so he could have been ahead at that time, not saying he was, just saying he could've.
Looks like he's quicker and faster than Cotto, i'm not saying he's better though. Either way, he's a good sparring partner for Manny to get used to a bigger and stronger fighter with speed.
a 21 year old kid with 10 fights posed heavy and strong for Pacman?!..think about a 29 year old power puncher with a great deal of experience!!..
this shit isn't goin to be pretty..I see roach stoppin this..he loves pacquiao way too much to see him suffering..and Pacquiao's heart won't allow him to give up unless he get knocked cold!.
Look at it this way, Porter who is a middleweight is stronger, bigger, and faster than Cotto. If Manny can hang with this guy, then he can hang with Cotto, hopefully.
This is the first time there is so much drama about Pacman's training camp isn't it? Well I already know the excuse if Pacman loses on Nov. 14th.
NO excuses. If this goes on, Manny is done and he will get KTFO by Cotto in 5 rounds. He is done. Too bad he is surrounded by idiots and assholes.
Repost. BUt with bigger pic and clearer.

This is a tough one. If i was Cotto i would say fvk it and go up to 147 or at least at 146 just to prove a point and also make it more to his advantage. But to be more honorable with the contract and agreement, then stay at 145. For me personally, it comes down to what weight i would feel more comfortable, safe, and with the most advantage with. If it is going to hamper my performance and safety, then i wouldn't risk it.
Cotto wouldn't do that for several reasons
1. He will owe a LOT more money than floyd had to pay. Manny makes it like 1mil per extra pound.
2. Cotto's title is on the line which means if he came in overweight he would be forced to vacate the title and WOULDN'T be able to get it back even if he were to win against Pac.
3. Cotto is classy.
IMO personally, it wouldn't make Cotto any less classy. The reason Mayweather looked sooo unclassy about the whole situation is because he didn't even wanted to be weight in at fight night. The money situation is a dilema for Cotto, even though we all know he has money already, 2 million is 2 million, or even 1 million. The title on the other hand, if it is the case where he would lose the title even if he wins just because he came in at 147lbs which still is the WW limit, then that's BS. I would thrash that belt after the fight even if he wins. JMHO.
Is Floyd beatable?
Is the Philly Shell penatrable (typo?)???
How can you beat someone like Floyd with his speed and defence?
Huggers and haters are welcome but try and give real answers
none of this bring a gun or kryptonite shi t.
Spit some knowledge at me.
Let him come to you, that would allow him to open up. You can't match his speed, you just have to time him. When you do attack if you get a chance to, you keep the pressure, not 1 or 2 punches, that won't do shit. A whole shit load of combinations.
Against Cotto, when Mayweather blocks with his shoulder, elbow, and arm, Cotto will just keep hitting that whole arm and shoulder and Cotto will break it.
Against Manny, being southpaw Manny will be able to tag him quite a bit because he's just as quick and Manny will be relentless on pressuring PBF. Between these two, it's just a matter of conditioning and cardio. Manny fakes alot and that should somewhat throw off PBF, only because Manny is fast and quick enough.
I saw this last night, he does look big. Hopefully he trims down exactly to 145 and gain it back to 152 at fight night without hampering his speed and power.
They're really trying to get Manny killed with this monster sparring partners. If Manny survives this training, then it would help him fighting Cotto now that he's used to guys bigger, stronger, and faster than Cotto.
:banghead:..this is not the case IF he decided to fight in December bro. Let's be honest. One of the biggest reasons he back was to fight Manny. Anyone with half a brain knows that and its the fight that EVERYONE wants to see. So trust and believe if Manny gets past Miguel, that fight WILL get made. I don't what Roach has been saying about Manny can retire without Floyd and all that.
Good point bro. You do realize my post was just a joke. TBH, i don't see Floyd fighting Cotto, i can see him fighting Manny for all the right reason. He's smaller and bigger payday than Cotto. But of course all of that could change if Cotto beats Manny. Cheers.
Isn't part of the sparring session/training is to get hit. That is how you adjust your timing and reflexes. Not to mention your stamina and tolerance on getting hit. Granted the sparring partner is probably not going fully loaded with the punches to avoid hurting Manny, it's still helpful to a certain degree.
Mayweather will beat any fighter out there that he doesn't actually have to fight. Just look at him, you know that he can beat those guys without actually having to fight them. And look how he did with much smaller guys, more reason for him to fight Manny. He's praying that Manny wins, because if Cotto wins, he might be pressured to fight Cotto. But then again he can just simply duck Cotto, again and again. His next fight would be with someone like Donaire. Make him move up to 140 from 120 and Floyd will come in at 147lbs.
Wlkin him down and beatin him into the ground, no. But by way of counterpunch or accumulation, I wouldn't be surprised. Cotto is too slow for Mr boat buyer and don't guard uppercuts and str8 shots well.
Cotto might be too slow for Floyd, but Floyd doesn't have enough power to KO Cotto IMO. Cotto has a great chin. Floyd will block Cotto with his arms, shoulders, and elbows, and Cotto will just break them all. Eventually Floyd can't use them anymore and that's when Cotto will go for the kill.
Just for comparison in terms of height and height alone, Oscar Dela Hoya is 5'10 who had fought big guys like Bhop. Cotto is 5'8 and Manny is 5'7 or 5'6 1/2. So nothing really new for Manny, many of his opponents had been bigger. I believe Hatton is 5'7 or 5'8.
In the same token, Margariton is 6'1, and look how well Cotto did. If it wasn't for the "concrete knuckles", i still believe Cotto would've won that fight.
i think everybody has gone a bit over the top with praising pacman. lets look at what hes actually done recently he beat a disgracefully poor hatton who couldnt even raise his hands to defend himself! he beat a weak weight drained de la hoya! and these are his 2 higher weight wins which is all of a sudden making him odds on favourite against a brilliant cotto! pac has barely even been hit by a ww yet!
his last few fights before those weren`t great it seems everybody thought he lost twice to marquez and he was awful against a finished barerra!
so to sum up he has it all to prove still before he is placed up there with the greats!
And what has Mayweather done other than fight smaller guys. He almost lost to ODLH and Hatton gave him a hard time up until the 10th round, actually Oscar did beat him. He's scared shit of Cotto and Mosley and the best win he had accomplished is against Judda. To sum it up, Mayweather hasn't done shit either.
Look at the size difference with ODLH.
If Oscar didn't slouch so much he'd look alot taller.

beat me 2 it..thats a sign of a man who talks to much..he always contradicts himself..do you need floyd or not roach??and damn you're talking about floyd more than cotto who pacman has a fight with in a month in a half
You misunderstood him. What he meant is that Floyd needs to come to Manny and that Floyd needs Manny more. But his comments doesn't detract from the fact that He and Manny wants to fight Floyd and beat him all for the reason of finally deciding who is THE P4P KING. I do agree that it is premature to be talking about Floyd when you have Cotto, Manny's biggest challenge and who i believe is a bigger threat than Floyd.
I'm not saying this is not true, but this quote from Manny doesn't sound like it would come out of Manny's mouth, in terms of vocabulary and grammar. I'm guessing it was translated and i'm also guessing that the translation was lost and is wrong. But if it is true and Manny did say these things, so what. What's wrong with it? I don't think he's talking trash at all.
“I would welcome him if he decides to slug it out at close range and if he intends to run, I know a lot of ways how to pin him down,” said Pacquiao. “I have a feeling, though, that he will try to dance around.”
