Austin Trout, Perro Angulo, and Lara aren't household names either.
If Canelo wants to be MW champ he has to prove it vs the best fighter in the division(also his mandatory)
That's true but money always plays a factor in making these type of fights...IMO Canelo has the edge as far as A side and B side...its risk vs reward and Canelo can fight lesser names for more $$$ than Triple G can...Canelo being Mexican has a bigger following and can dictate negotiations to a certain point...Canelo is asking for a 155lbs catch weight which I don't like but I think 157lbs would be fair...
Canelo and Triple G will not fight anytime soon...IMO Triple G isn't a household name yet where as Canelo has fought Floyd and casuals know his name...It always comes down to $$$...they'll wait to build it up...
Pretty Boy Floyd had Roger as his trainer...that's the biggest difference! Floyd's last fight with Roger was Cotto and that was the most offensive fight Floyd had in my opinion since changing over to money.
You guys are lame...The article clearly states neither fighter was tested and Nebraska Athletic Commission reserves the right to test after the fight if need be...How the fuc do you get Crawford on roids or using diuretics????
If the fight happens in NY

O yeah. Let me ponder this. I'm pretty sure there is no way in hell that fight does a million but "what if". I can't live without my points lol ..................let me think
Bruh...it will be Floyd's first fight in NY...he could fight a cab driver and do 1 million.
Why would where he's fighting have anything to do with PPV sales?
Are you serious? Floyd's fighting in the Big Apple and you think that won't generate sells. let's not mention the fact people will think he won't get home town cooking(Vegas) and take a loss after some thought Maidana won the first fight.
Busting makes you lose your testosterone...its a male hormone. When you release that, you become less aggressive and docile. This why they let men f^cc men in prison!!!
:lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1:
absolutely agree.
Floyd's whole persona is to be this uber millionaire money may persona. Im quite certain his alleged showtime payday is another typical floyd lie much like his 20 million for one nights work vs the big show.
Do you think Forbes lied about him being the highest paid as well???
He can take as many dildos in the cornhole as he wants so long as we start seeing some fights between GBP and TR.
With what fighters???

And it's also easy to forget since Oscar was trained by Floyd Sr and dropped him for that fight only because Oscar didn't want Floyd Sr to have to be put against his own son. It's not like Oscar was trained by Roach for years or something.
That is totally false...Oscar didn't have Floyd Sr in his corner because Senior asked for 1 million. It was more Floyd Sr not wanting to train Oscar against his own son.
Now we know why he took that coaching gig...Its sad to say but Pac will have to fight most likely until his early 40's. Pacquiao fans should only be upset at Bob Arum and Michael Koncz for putting him in this financial mess.
Floyd said that he too had a rotator cuff injury in the Castillo 1 fight and blamed that instead of giving Castillo credit. Yet, if you watch the tape, Floyd did use both hands and came back after 7 months to fight Castillo in their rematch.
Now that I said that your hero said it, then it must be true right?
Hurting your rotator cuff and tearing are totally 2 different things...come back to reality
Id strongly advise against it but they buy it from brokers who dont have the tickets yet and will sell it once they do get the ticket. Problem is sometimes these brokers are unable to secure the tickets and youre left without a ticket (i assume youd still get a refund). It was a huge issue during the super bowl and many fans traveled to Phoenix and were left without a ticket.
Thanks...........
Wouldn't just about every bar or casino be showing it????
NO...You have to pay hefty amount of money to show in the Casinos Sportsbook...there will be several hotels that will have closed circuit and you have to pay around $100 bucks to get in
Closed circuit will be around $100 to $200 to get in. Chances are they will sellout before you get a chance to purchase them but there will plenty of scalpers selling them the night of the fight...just make sure the tickets are legit
you guys are funny...the question should when's the last time pac faced a opponent that has speed??? Never!!!! BUT BUT BUT styles make fight! This is the worst style for pac...not to mention the 5 inch reach advantage...Pac getting tattooed all night!!!
Yeah but I don't think team Pacquiao really wanted the fight as much as Oscar did. That was the difference. I remember Roach would say things like if Oscar came in overweight he would cancel the fight. It seemed like the only A-side perk Oscar had was the money split. Everything else seemed to favor the underdog, Pacquiao.
Oscar was on that CoCo...wasnt eating or training right. He used some sort of diuretic then they tried rehydrate him with the IV after his body wouldn't allow him drink that much water to hydrate back up
Because he actually has legitimate signs of using PEDs, unlike the "he's gone through too many weight classes" or "his head is too big."
Kind of like leg cramps and stomach ulcers that Pacquiao had back when he was declining random testing right...
no way Floyd fights in NY with those taxes. He'll just fight in another building in Vegas
Barclays would probably give Floyd huge gate $$$ to off set the taxes...
