these whining babies are so full of themselves..pacquiao had surgery on his rotater cuff..it wasn't made up and shouldn't have been if you had a half a brain you would know a famous surgeon comes out and putting his rep on the line to say he had "significant tear" why question that fact? Why so much hating? Pauline u lil **** you never accomplished anything except you brag about you didn't get KO by cotto..and who can forget your countless rants about judges being paid because you lost..and you talk about some one who tore his rotater cuff that even made klitscko quit against Byrd being a sore loser..what an $:@:!?&$ idiot ..and who can forget Bernard rolling on the floor whining and crying when Roy jones just touched you back of your head..give me a break..
Pacquiao had a tore rotater cuff and thought he can get his shot like mayweather does right before his fight..nvsac denied it that was so bogus that even made one of their council abruptly resign..get over yourselves Hopkins and Pauline..#truth #100
The problem is people don't know what is actually a torn rotator cuff. Probably because it sounds like just it's torn--like flesh torn, so they probably don't know how hurtful and debilitating it actually is.
If you are someone unlucky who have experienced this excruciating injury. You'll probably agree, that, this type of injury is somewhat a traitor, you can actually live with it without seeing a doctor, thinking you you're actually healed by time. But until you hit the wrong spot again, you will be reminded, courtesy of this huge sharp pain shooting upwards, you think you've been poked by the biggest needle in the world. It's not a persistent pain mind you, once you don't hit, or re-position your shoulder in a certain way, pain goes a way and until you hit that lucky spot again, you will be pain free for a while.
Now, not all torn rotator cuffs are the same. If you have a thick tissue genetically, you'll probably experience a more tolerable pain and probably will heal quickly as well. As for what manny had, I don't know exactly, but boxing with a torn rotator cuff is definitely a very very badass. Never in my life would do such a thing, let alone contemplate on doing it. But I guess 120 million dollars would do it for most if not all! hell yeah!:fing26:
I wonder how much Manny paid that doctor to confirm his bogus injury?
This doctor has credibility because he performed surgery on Tom Brady? Tom Brady? Tom Brady? Deflate-gate Tom Brady? LOL!
Manny did not have a torn rotator cuff. Vitali Klitshko QUIT against Chris Byrd when he tore his. David Haye said it was too painful to lift a cup to his mouth when he had a torn rotator cuff.
But big bad Manilla Manny can fight through torn rotator cuff, broken wrists and a punctured lung. And against Elite competition.
I think Pacquiao is really the DOS EQUIS man...
Floyd said that he too had a rotator cuff injury in the Castillo 1 fight and blamed that instead of giving Castillo credit. Yet, if you watch the tape, Floyd did use both hands and came back after 7 months to fight Castillo in their rematch.
Now that I said that your hero said it, then it must be true right?
Hurting your rotator cuff and tearing are totally 2 different things...come back to reality
This thread sucks worse than pacquiao did in that fight
LOL, Floyd wasn't all that impressive himself man, much like Garcia and that gift he got after Peterson whooped his ass. :boxing:
Lol this fanboy got his feelings hurt when Bhop and paulie roasted and exposed team pac
Right... more like Paulie got exposed when it was revealed Pacquiao really did tear his rotator cuff. Nice job opening your big mouth Paulie you made yourself look like a fool.
No man.. That's consistent with my own knowledge of the injury. I had a strain type injury, and a simple jab would have been a "grimace through it" type of affair. My friend had an actual tear and he couldn't lift his arm above the level of his collar bone for a long time. I still don't think he's 100% even after all this time.
Manny was just throwing too fluidly and moving that arm too freely for me to believe he had a torn rotator cuff. No way. Some other ache or pain? Sure,,,, but a severe injury?......nah
A torn rotator is a very significant injury. I had a friend that probably tore his ACL and never went to the doctor about it. He was playing basketball and came down from a layup and he didn't land properly I guess and there was this "pop" as he described it.
Well, he was literally in a wheelchair (his family had one from an old surgery that a sister had) for 3 weeks right after this happened. His knee was so swollen it turned purple and was 3 times its normal size, possibly more. From then on, he was on crutches for another month and couldn't walk properly for about 6 in total. He was finally able to play limited basketball again a little over a year later. I'm just talking shooting shots in his back yard type basketball.
I just can't bring myself to accept that his rotator just split wide open and he showed little to no signs of it. He maybe laid off of the right a bit but I have absolutely no doubt in my mind whatsoever that he would have fallen to the canvas or turned his back on the action had his shoulder experienced the type of injury they are claiming.
OK, no problem.
So you know that Floyd fought with such an injury too against Castillo, right? Instead of crediting Castillo, he excused his performance on the injury.
So that said, Manny and Floyd both fought with it. The severity must have been different because Floyd came back after 7 months and that was 13 years ago.
For Manny, it was severe enough to have surgery. So it was not one of those where it heals up on its own.
13 years ago. Exactly.
Does turning a muddy dog into a muddy cat get rid of the mud? Psh..
I had a "strained" rotator a few years back and I don't want to sound like a lil biatch but, I couldn't lift my elbow out in a lateral movement, like a shoulder fly type of movement, for two weeks. I had shooting pains all the time for months like 3 months afterwards. I went to the orthopedic specialist and he acted like it was no big deal. He said a total tear would have meant that when he did his tests, that my shoulder would likely pop out of the socket.
Not saying there wasn't some issue with the shoulder heading into the fight but "a significant tear"..........uh....maybe my experience was an anomaly or something?

Bull****. Floyd was complaining about his shoulder early in the fight even when he was clearly winning. After the fight ppl asked about it and he answered. It's not the same thing. Please do yourself a favor and take some time off from the site.
Who's hero? You must be confused. I wanted Floyd to lose.
OK, no problem.

I don't doubt he had some ache or pain. But I do doubt the severity of the injury. Clearly many who blindly believe everything the man says as gospel don't have any kind of familiarity with the proposed injury. Torn rotator cuff? C'mon now. He was throwing both hands throughout the fight, and raised his hands after. Even did some casual movements with his right hand (wiping his face ect) during the post fight interview that would have been pointless for him to grimace through to do. He was in very little, if any, pain. Certainly not suffering a severe injury. I'd bet on that.
This is all to justify a rematch anyway. It's a money grab.

so manny fans hate hopkins now too? lol
You don't have to hate. Just disagree with his statements.
In that form there were those pain killers mentioned. Hopkins says that the commission would question what was on that form. Why then did the commissions not say "what did you use those pain killers for"?
Also, why is Hopkins not talking about that Manny did tell USADA? What about the pain killers on the form?
Finally, I still remember many here dogging Hopkins when he had that supposed injury against Chad Dawson. Yet he now is questioning because of a check box?
In fact, I bet on manny over Cotto back when the majority of this site was of the opinion Cotto was too big...old school son.
Just can't stand weak ass justifications. I watched the fight, and Manny came in trying to beat Floyd at his own game. How many Mayweather opponents have to try, and fail, doing that for future opponents to get a clue?

pac man had success in this fight, he is a world class fighter, his left hand landed at times. i rewatched it several times and manny was no pushover floyd definitely respected who was in front of him but floyd was the better boxer and footwork was phenominal
I have no problem with the legal moves of Floyd. It's all the other stuff that he does and gets away with. If it was someone else, he would be getting more hard warnings and points deducted.
Paulie is one of those guys that knows a lot about the science, but is so incredibly biased that he's unlistenable. B-Hop has toned it down a bit now that he wants to be a commentator but he's notorious for his bullsht.
People saying the injury was faked are just delusional and will believe anything that makes them feel better about their boxing heroes. That's nothing new. But Pac went in there injured so he needs to take full responsibility for the outcome.

Hopkins is right, the shoulder is a lame excuse.
Paulie's alway's been a salty Pac hater and will use every opportunity to bash Pac and Pac gave him a legit reason to bash him on this one.
