So going out to vegas for the fight. My GFs sisterin law knows pac personally and gets free tix. Sometimes they get extra and give it to anybody. We got thousand dollar seats to Pac Bradley 2 last year. Not so optimistic about this one, but its still a shot so i have to go..
But im gonna plan for not getting the free tix. Do closed circuits sell out fast? And if so, do they have other places they show it on the strip? My biggest fear is going to vegas and not being able to watch it
I'll be going to Vegas for the fight, already booked my flight. Not going to the actual fight though, just gonna cop a closed circuit ticket probably and enjoy fight week in vegas. Did the same thing for Mayweather-Canelo and had a good time.
I just cant justify spending the insane amount of money for a mayweather fight, even if its against pac. I'll only spend money for a live ticket if it's pretty much guaranteed to be a good fight e.g Matthysse-Provo.
Thanks for the good info fellas. I land at 840am on Friday so I plan to go straight there and have my wife check into the hotel. Hopefully thats not too late.
I'd absolutely love to go. Back when the fight was first negotiated in 09 I was a student in college and was willing to put about 3 grand on a credit card for it all to go. Sadly now I'm a little more mature and just the fact that cheap seats are 3 grand let's me know I won't get to see history live. To say I'm jelly of anyone who could afford to go is an understatement.
I want to say they opened the doors a good 2 hours before the weigh in started. The annoying guy came out with the microphone and hyped everyone up from time to time.
I'm not sure how early people got there. I would say probably 10 am or so. I think we got there around 12:00. Stood in line for a couple of hours.
like somebody said in this thread, this weigh in should be at unlv football stadium
like early in the morning?
what time did they open the doors?

I went to the Canelo weigh in. People started lining up pretty early. The guy in front of me brought a backpack full of beer and just chilled until time for the doors to open. The atmosphere was unreal.
We bought tickets for the fights the night before the Mayweather fight, and got VIP seating to the weigh in. I doubt they do anything similar for this one, though.
I'd like to go to this weigh in, but I'm not gonna pay some outrageous amount to see two guys weigh themselves.

I'd like to go even if I cant get a ticket just to soak in the fight week atmosphere. Hopefully they do the weigh in at the UNLV football stadium to accommodate the fans in LV who wont be able to get a ticket.
I plan on going to the weigh in too. Who has been to one? I wonder when people start lining up.

You will. The lower bowl seats are always available. Its the upper level seats that sell out.
I don't think tickets will go on a general sale like usual and I don't buy tickets on the secondary market. I'll be happy if I get to go but I will watch at home if not; I'm more excited about the pre fight stuff for this to be honest.
I shall be present!
Had a flight booked in January and thankfully I booked the hotel the day before the announcement. I got a suite a Signature MGM for 200 a night... now Im seeing listings at 1500 lol. Shout out to Fat Dan and his threat levels haha.
Now the hard part is getting a ticket.
I'm pretty sure I will get tickets; but not 100% like Im usually am but I'm selling my hotel room at the Bellagio.

you're crazy, john...i dont even want to think about dealing with that madness in Vegas...it'll be like new years eve but for the whole week :lol1:
Haha. It's gonna be a blast, my friend.
I'm betting they will be $500; I heard they will charge for the weigh in also but those are rumors but it wouldn't surprise me.
There's no way they charge $500 for closed circuit. People aren't going to pay $500 to watch this fight on TV.
Haven't decided yet. I usually go to one Vegas fight per year but I don't want to deal with all this craziness. I might just enjoy this one at home for a change.
