I am not sure what has taken place with Manny's financials, but he has to get a couple pro's in this or he will end up in a real mess, possibly behind bars. I was thinking since he fought in Vegas again recently that he fixed those issues. It looks like he has not. If he does not clear it up, he could end up having all of his accounts, properties and other assets seized and liquidated.

I'm not saying he doesn't owe tax money but their numbers don't make any sense. This money is from two fights, so in order for him to owe $50 million in taxes he would have had to have made well over a $100,000,000 for those 2-3 fights, which quite obviously he didn't. yea, 50 million with the penalties and all of the zero negatives..........even now it's 2014 and this still hasn't been taken care of. penalties............

the numbers do not add up pac already paid tax in america for the fights, he should not be double charged in his own country once pac provided valid tax returns, the amount should be removed, its weird he has not done this yet the rule is as long as pac can show he paid his usa taxes, he does not pay them in his own country, but he is in dispute over expenses in usa, therefore he cannot prove he has paid his usa taxes the IRS claims that pac didn't pay anything to them...........these are full charges including year after year penalties. BIR would go away if the IRS and receipts checked out but when they tried to press the IRS (to make BIR go away) the IRS only took the BIR's side...........it's full blown mess that won't get solved without stripping someones life. if pac was a u.s. citizen the IRS probably would have just issued an arrest warrant (if he didn't want to settle with a payment plan. which the IRS already got him on a harsh payment plan as we speak) but thats up to BIR since pac is a native of philippines. he couldn't present the receipts so that means there was tax fraud in both PH and the u.s. & BIR is only looking to get their portion back (as with the IRS) i don't see why the hate for BIR in this thread tho :dunno:

Yeah something is weird. I mean lets say in 2008 and 2009 he made a 100 million in purses(which he didn't) that 100 million is not what he takes home. By the time the IRS took their share and paying his crew, he may have took home 30 million. So then he goes back to his home country, and they want 50 million, but since he has not paid it, they now want a 100 million LOL I don't knew the exact amount of his taxes but the quoted amount I'm sure include penalties/surcharges. Since Dec, 2013, Arum said that they will present receipts within three months to prove that he paid taxes to IRS which is deductible to the taxes due to BIR (Phil). It is June, 2014 now but Arum has still to present any evidence. Hate it but it appears that no taxes was paid to IRS in behalf of Pac
