phoenix arizona baby, we have a kidnapping a day, all drug related no kids.
city of the home invasion they take this **** seriously
nothing to really be proud about, but this just shows you how hard it is to be down in a city like this.
Phoenix is for *******.
Seems to be a huge double standard here. I fully believe that Canelo will now be fighting ggg in September. So he's stepping up. This is the blueprint to be recognized as a "great" fighter IMO. Not running up in the ring after a fight and standing there until everybody is gone like weirdos.
Seriously, what's up with this dude,
is he content with mediocrity?
Beating Canelo won't make him a star or great. In fact Canelo would probably get more props from his haters for taking the fight.
Shut up, pushbroom.
There is a difference between good footwork and running. You know damn well there are some dudes that run. It has nothing to do with how adept they are with their feet. Prime example: Derrick Gainer.
He's one of the most interesting fighters of the last 15 years in my opinion. His heart and will was unbelievable in the ring. It's interesting how he was able to achieve the level of celebrity he did in the UK. His fans were bar none the best in the sport, and they came to Vegas and took the whole sh*t over. Then Ricky just pissed it all away with his bad habits and addictions. It would be great to hear about all of this from his perspective.
I'd say one of the the more overrated of the last 15 years. Sure he had a great fan base, but that dosent make him intersting to me. That popularity is why a publisher is willing to put the book out. They'll each buy two copies.
I'd be much more interested in reading a book about say Emanuel Burton, James Toney, Erik Morales., Naseem Hamed. All intersting and/or controversial characters in and out of the ring, IMO.
Forbes fought an empty shell, Leija took his soul. Just like he did with Camacho Jr 3 years earlier.
Rubio took the fight out of him. He was only in the sport half heartedly at that point and got handed his first loss. He started camp for that fight at 185 or 190.
Yep. I remember when he started, I was watching the fight like, "Oh shyt, this dude is good!"
I remember that batch of prospects really well. Panchito and Cotto were my 2 favorites. I remember thinking man, that's going to be a badass fight at 47 or 54 when they meet eventually. Then Panchito imploded and then Cotto was in that car accident and they were talking like it was going to be over for him. Thankfully at least he made it through and has had a great career with some great fights.
I remember when he KO'd Julio Diaz in like 1 round.
I remember that. Diaz literally went to sleep on his feet. It was a pretty big upset. It made me go watch Valenzuela in Tijuana a few fight later when he fought El Baby Zepeda and Zepeda KO'ed him.
The only better KO I remember from FNF around that time was when JMM KTFO of Johnny Walker.
He was a natural fighter....had the natural talent but didn't have the drive or discipline....Lost to fighters he had better skills than and more talent than because of those liabilities. When I was in high school watching him on Friday night fights, I thought he'd become a world champion....I think a guy named Juan Valenzuela was the first to beat him
Nope. Rubio beat him.
Valenzuela beat Ricardo Williams.
He was fun to watch, not sure why he stopped fighting.
Dude had no discipline. Shame, he would had natural talent and a really nice fighting style. If I remember correctly he got some girl who was really young and stopped taking his career seriously. Then he went nuts. I remember he was in a high speed chase, I think down here in San Diego.
I'm surprised the media is actually running with the shoulder injury. Every news show I watched this morning talked about the fight now having controversy.
:lol1: Dude mad, Why you hating on Algieri just because he is Handsome? How is he a pretender the guy won a world title, have you ever won one of those.
Banku Stew? thats Josh Clottey excuse go tell him that on his facebook page buddy.
Dude, you're such a loser. I'm mad at a mental midget like you? Yeah. Like most everybody else, I feel a little sorry for you and your lame predictions. But mostly, I'm laughing. At you. Not with you.
Why are you so gay over Algieri? You can't stop calling him handsome. You get wood looking at that dude, don't you?
Keep trying Hec, someday you might, just might, win in life. :lol1:
Another hater probably jealous of algieri or mad because he is so handsome. Im sick of guys like you hating on pretty boys.
GTFOH you homo. Don't you have some absurd fight predictions to go make, Banku Stew?
I'm not even a fan of Khan. I just know lame ass pretenders when I see them. Just like I can see right thru your sorry ass.
