With apologies to NSB's religious fruitcakes.
Manny Pacquiao - Born again evangelical
Robert Guerrero - Fire and Brimstone born again evangelical
Andre Ward - Son of god
Shawn Porter - #blessed
America tends to lead the way in this respect but I would pick Pacquiao over them all. Manny is the sort of old-school religious crackpot you can respect.
Pacquiao was a complete fool for saying God would deliver Floyd into his hands and then putting on a lackluster performance.
I've been defending the guy's intelligence for years but I can't do that anymore.
That's what happens when you go full retard with religion. Roach told Pac that god doesn't give a fcuk who wins, the better man will win...well Pac was himself ..god loves Floyd too LOL.
Hate both real life religious ranting nuts and internet pro-atheism ranting nuts
But out of boxers Andre's "Son of God" thing is particularly obnoxious
I half expect Guerrero and Ward to utter the phrase "The great thing about me, the thing that really makes me the most exceptional person that I undoubtedly am - is my humility."
i swear i've heard ricky hatton say that exact thing, except substituting the pronouns with his own name
Golovkin says this prayer in his native tongue before every fight, "Lord of Light! Come to us in our darkness. We offer you these false gods. Take them and cast your light upon us. For the night is dark and full of terrors."
They call him the Red GGGod
Almost all boxers seem to be religious nutters. A more interesting question is which boxers aren't religious nutters. Are there any confirmed atheist/agnostic boxers?
Golovkin would clear out the GoT division too :lol1: :lol1:
He'd have to KO the Stone Men with one punch & not get touched at all...otherwise he's gone.

Prince Naseem used to do alot of religious preaching, Evander Holyfield,
Holyfield is a great shout, he is very backward.
Chris Byrd is certainly religious.
Roman Gonzalez mentions God a lot.
Porter/Guerrero/Ward use the words 'blessed' and 'humble' in just about every sentence even though Porter is probably the only one of the three that even shows an ounce of humility. I half expect Guerrero and Ward to utter the phrase "The great thing about me, the thing that really makes me the most exceptional person that I undoubtedly am - is my humility."
Manny definitely went down in my estimation with his new found faith.
I've seen Peter Quillin mention God on twitter, although that man is in a permanent state of confusion so who knows how religious he is.
