why did he hold Nery asap as he still stumbled after the count?
Damn man its ok he won but to deny the fact that he was seriously hurt is plain ignorance shyt he had to take a whole 8 count to get back up.
My guy, I'm not trying to be disrespectful when I say this, but you're not very good at analyzing fights. Now I'm not going to say you should fold up and move onto another sport, but I want you to really focus on just boxing so you can get better.
All trolling aside, he was NEVER wobbling, glassed eyed or in any danger. He took a good shot as he was throwing one and it looked worse than it actually was. You're taught as a fighter to take the 8 count on the knee to ensure you are focused and ready to go, that's boxing 101 type knowledge. I'm not going to go back and forth with you on this as you seem to be having enough on your plate with the dude you're arguing with 6 ALT's. LOL
You might wanna go back to "bball" sounds more you're type of sport......my guy.
Oh....and I hate basketball. Bunch of whiny, soft bit**es. I like violence and the art of inflicting pain onto another person to make them succumb to my will. Kind like what I'm doing to you in this thread. I'm going to let you off easy and not respond for another month because you offer no value to me after reading your other posts. You'd be lightwork on your best day. Gotta get your weight up and come a little harder to spark any interest for me again. Have a great summer :)
He was seriously hurt, but has good reflexes, but one Big shot more and the story could be different.
He was hurt, very hurt, against Donaire too, he was clinching.
His chin is good, but not great, he has heart and good recovery .
But in 126 he can be touched and hurt.
He has holes in his defense, he showed they against Donaire too... He let his hands down much time.
You must have been watching on some second rate streaming service. He was clear-eyed, focused and very alert. Not a chance in hell he was hurt.
But blew his wad trying to finish him at first I only seen the HLs and thought Inoue just went down but he was seriously hurt had to take the full count and had to hold to survive the onslaught. Inoue came back nicely In the next few rds props to both guys for a great fight. Nery will be back he's all action must see TV.
You guys and him being seriously hurt LOL. He was nothing of the sort. Tell me you didnt watch the fight without actually telling me.
Lol "my guy" I know more about the sport than you can ever learn.
when a fighter gets hit so hard that his body spun he falls flat on his side then has to literally take the full 8 count then proceeds to turn into Devin Haney and hold Nery for dear life he's pretty damn hurt....but like I said he won no need to act like Inoue shyttt don't stink.
You might wanna go back to "bball" sounds more you're type of sport......my guy.
This is comical. My boxing background is very, very extensive. 1. My father was a cornerman, cut man and a referee in the upstate NY region for 40 years, I kind of picked up on a few hundred thousand things being around the sport. 2. I've been watching and studying the sport since 1986, I'm willing to bet you weren't even alive yet. We can sit here and argue all you want about who knows what. I assure you, my knowledge of this sport is vast and pretty much second to none and on par with the best of them.
PS: The proper way to say it is, "I forgot more about the sport then you'll ever know" But, you already knew that, right?
Because its easy to ingest the banned substance found in his positive result. 1. By being spiked. 2. Neglecting to know which supplements contained the banned substance. I also highly doubt the PED was the reason Devin was hit with the same punch over and over. Haney had no plan and thought Ryan was going to be easy. Either way, I still fault Ryan for his ignorance.
Marsha Mathers was always a cuck that jocked black culture as a survival tool. Coma victim 101. Corny poser scowling 24/7 so that nobody sees the cuck in him. F ck outta here...the hood should be ashamed for elevating this thesaurus lovin cornball that raps through his nose.
Tell me you're mad that Em eats your favorite rapper alive without telling me you're mad.
Tell me you have a crush on a pasty poser that rhymes words at the end of a sentence without telling me you are ghay....
Childish response, I must say. Look at all those "likes" you got with your response. Go back and play in the sandbox and let the big boys talk about boxing. Go make a TikTok about how woke you are. Peasant.
While we haven't seen Loma fight in forever, I feel that throwing $1,500 on Loma to win $100 is the more realistic outcome. It's currently not even on the Draft Kings app to bet, but if it shows up and the number gets better because a lot of people are throwing money on Ortiz I'll bet it. If the odds come down to say -1100 I'd throw $110 to win $10 on it, just for fun.
I give tons of credit to Wilder for coming back after those beatings he took. While he may look good in this video, its to be seen what he will do when he gets cracked. I'm rooting for him because I like a good comeback story.
While AJ is on a two fight skid, he still would have brought an element to a Fury fight that would have made it exciting for all to see. It's a shame because while these two will go on to fight someone else, we the fans lose out. Eddie Hearn is a big pile of dog$hit
I’ve said it from day 1, he’s absolute trash. People on here were hyping him up and saying he was a top heavyweight and I really had to wonder if they were talking about someone else. I thought he had good stamina, a resiliant chin, but damn didn’t think he’d get bodied like that. Overrated and over hyped. Next.
Not going to happen. If Canelo was 10 years older, I'd say that is a possibility. However, he's in the prime of his career. Canelo wins 116-112 or late stoppage.
Its already happened multiple times tbf. Conor/Khabib did more buys than both Canelo/GGG fights combined.
I do think people are underselling Canelo/Plant a little here though. Based on Canelos PPV track record, Plant being a flashy undefeated American and the face off confrontation this should do well. I expect the UFC to do 600-700k, MAYBE up to 800k. I think it will be close, but if the UFC DOES blow away Canelo/Plant like many here are suggesting it will, that is a pretty bad L for boxing tbh, because we are talking about the biggest draw in boxing in probably his biggest fight since 2018, whereas the UFC can put out PPVs like this one every few months, it aint even Conor.
My sentiments exactly. I think the UFC will do 800k-900k, where Canelo-Plant may do 600k. Hard to say because both are on the same night forcing fans/casuals to decide which one to purchase. Like you said, if UFC's #'s blow Boxing's #'s out of the water, it'll be a big L for boxing.
It is clear how bias you are. How reliant Boxing is on jingoism??? Boxing is the sport that has been around for over a century. "The people who watch ufc do so because they like mma." The people who watch Boxing are not Boxing fans???
I understand the sport started in the 90's. That is not true about making a better living in mma than Boxing. Check with John Nash on this topic. He has done extensive research on this topic and Boxing pays more at every stage and especially at the top.
100% this brother! UFC and Dana White are the biggest piles of dogsh!t in the fighting industry. Their fighters make pennies compared to what boxers or even YouTuber's make. It's quite sickening honestly. Where does all the money go? I've always wanted to know. UFC is either grossly overpaying for broadcasting fees or they are robbing their fighters of good paydays.
Canelo vs Plant will double the ufc gate. That is just a fact. Boxing mega gates are far bigger than mma mega gates. People forget that Canelo literally has a whole country (Mexico population 130 million) that stops when he fights. PPV Buys are a bit tricky the ufc always adds in international buys when Boxing never does.
The crazy thing is the B side Caleb Plant will earn more than both of the main event fighters in the ufc main event. That is one thing I don't understand is people say how big ufc is when the fighters are getting paid absolute $ hit.
That has always been my distain for Dana White and UFC brand. Their superstars get paid crap compared to what a challenger to a champion gets paid. It's absolutely crazy how these guys put up with the amount of money they get paid, but yet a Paul brother gets paid millions. It drives me crazy.
I think the true gauge is the PPV sales. I'd bet my 401k that the UFC event destroys the Canelo-Plant event. And believe me, I'm a much bigger boxing fan then I am a UFC fan. I just know the card for UFC is the event of the year.
