Why are people defending Ryan’s PED use ?

One or all of these reasons 1 - They are gay and find him attractive 2 - They hate the Haneys 3 - They are dumb and uneducated 4 - All roids lead to Mexico 5 - They hate blacks 6 - They hate Muslims All of the above for me except number 3. This is probably the most obvious and indefensible road catching we've ever seen. Reminds me of Conor Benns roiding.

This is first time I seen so many fans state a PED user is not a cheater and still deserves a win and they are still criticizing Devin saying he lost. How come? It's because people hate Devin and his Floyd impression but don't have 25% of the skill sets...We only started liking instant melatonin Devin because of his daddy Bill interviews and fukkery The perfect gumbo causing an unreasonable hate for the Haney's, so much so Ryan is being defended when the fight should have been called off twice with Garcia being 3 pounds over(which is a rule) and popping dirty, the Haney's were shafted..Me personally I like both Ryan and the Haney's(Bill the A side there) but the boxing fan in me remember how a roided jmm messed up Floyd Manny, Devin was on the brink of big matches and his own history and that ruins everything, everything is ruined for us fans so fukk Ryan right now

Yup. The SRR avi was a ploy. Trey Shaw/Regge has never said a positive thing about a black/white/asian person in his entire pathetic life. Yeah I remember him. I think when he first started posting he acted like he was this neutral boxing fan who didn't have any racial bias, and then slowly he started saying more and more anti-black stuff and then went off the rails.

I don't think he needed PED's for the fight to play out the way it did. Its not like he had high workrate or needs help with his left hook power to hurt Haney. ruined his own win when he already had the tools to fight the way he did.

I'm not justifying his actions at all,and a cheater is a cheater. That being said,Haney has a style that makes watching paint dry seem like sky diving, in addition to the fact that his primary form of defence is hugging his opponent and sniffing their crotch. But the Haney's shouldn't complain too much,since Allah has a plan for everyone,and probably wanted to humble or test Devin to make him a better person and fighter.

Im not sure people are defending PED use so much as defending the right to B sample testing and Ryans right to defend himself. Noone is saying that he should be allowed to fight on the juice...they are saying they dont think he took it.....or at least not intentionally. Where there is room for error.. there is room for doubt. Money and power is always going to bring controversy to a dirty sport like boxing. Lets enjoy the fact we got a fight and a winner. Haneys chin was always considered soft. Garcias left was always consideted powerful. None of thoae facts changed. Haney didnt complain after the fight that Ryan seemed in any way different....and he acknowledged he got outhustled. Its too late for him or his team to change the narrative.

Because its easy to ingest the banned substance found in his positive result. 1. By being spiked. 2. Neglecting to know which supplements contained the banned substance. I also highly doubt the PED was the reason Devin was hit with the same punch over and over. Haney had no plan and thought Ryan was going to be easy. Either way, I still fault Ryan for his ignorance. You can argue that but people aren't machines. The sheer power of another fighter can make it harder to even stay focused on your game plan and make you too uncomfortable to think. Not to mention we don't really know if Ryan cheating on the scales and now with PEDs in his system gave him enough power and punch resistance to bulldoze through Haney's punches more so than he otherwise would have been able to had it been fair. Yes, Haney has flaws, just like Garcia. But would those flaws have been so consequential if Haney didn't have to drain himself 3 extra pounds than Garcia did and do so without a PED boost? These are questions we'll never know, which is why you don't cheat in the first and create all of these woulda, shoulda, coulda inquires. If the fight wasn't determined by power and punch resistance, such as pot shoting and jabbing all night and winning on points, then I could understand. But it was determined entirely by power and punch resistance which exactly plays in to the weight and PED advantage Garcia had. Seems a bit disingenuous to then suggest that Garcia's advantages had nothing to do with him winning.

Nothing against Haney, and find his Dad entertaining. Not concerned about the win going to an NC. I've just never seen a fighter react like Garcia to a positive drugs test, no hiding, no lawyer's statement, his demeanor comes off as authentic, plausible.

Since the sport in general doesn't take it seriously neither do the fans (most not all), it's like a domino effect. So many boxers have popped over the years with lame excuses and it gets swept under the rug. Some fans on NSB have even advocated to legalize PEDs to level the playing field which is one of the dumbest suggestions I've seen on here. ​​​​​​With Ryan it's amplified due to his popularity with the young kids and his social media presence/influence.

Because "he only cheated a little bit, everybody does it" is what helps them sleep at night. ​​​​​
