What am I missing? Fury is a better fighter than Whyte. The issue isn't that people think he'll lose to contenders in a one off fight, the issue is that Fury doesn't make these fights.

Dillian Whyte is terrible. He got iced by Povetkin, who hasn't looked good since 2016. Povetkin clearly had no legs under him as far back as the Christian Hammer fight. He looked dead against Price and Joshua, even worse against Hunter. Whyte needed to cheat to beat Rivas, who had him on dream street. He only beat Parker because he was awarded a knockdown on a blatant headbutt, and then was again on dream street at the bell. He got iced by a green Joshua. He won't last 5 rounds with Fury and if he ever fought Wilder, he'd get Breazeale'd in the first round. Dillian Whyte has no chin or head movement. Bad combination at heavyweight.
