So I haven't watched a ton of the current Light Heavyweights, but from what I've seen so far from the two, it looks like Bivol is a tougher matchup. His jab and movement looks really sharp, a style that has been known to give Canelo some issues. However, it seems like I hear that Beterbiev is the harder matchup, but to me it seems like he has a style Canelo would shine against. Tell me if I'm crazy lol

So people get hurt and knocked down. It happens. They're in there fighting professional fighters who are looking to hurt you. Haney got rocked by Linares and held on, sure. Ryan got dropped by Campbell. But it doesn't necessarily mean these guys have glass chins. Muhammad Ali, a guy we know to have one of the greatest all time chins, got KNOCKED OUT by Henry Cooper. Angelo himself said he had to use (illegal) smelling salts, and split his glove open to buy him time. And Henry Cooper was what? 195 lbs on fight night? Certainly nowhere near the punchers Ali would go on to face. Guys got caught. I was impressed with how Haney, while hurt, adjusted and didn't let that punch land again. Ryan got caught, and never adjusted to the left, he just outgunned Campbell to a KO. If you wanna examine/analyze something, look at that. Not the fact that he got hurt.

This is my first big fight that I'm actually going to attend. Never been to Vegas either. The only other live pro fight I've been to was Jean/Crawford in 2015. (I'm from Omaha, sue me lol). I'm super stoked, and don't know what to expect tho. P.S. buying tickets through StubHub was ridiculous, what's up with the service fee? I got two tickets and it was $100 service fee for each. Redonk. i went to axs and saved like 300 bux on better seats.

And man Bazooka was the truth. I love to go back and revisit his catalog periodically. I would love to see how he would fare against today's lineup at 147-154. I think part of the reason he's underrated is because of his era, just got overshadowed by De La Hoya, Trinidad etc. But when I see guys like Tony Harrison nowadays, I see a budget version of Quartey, without the durability obviously. But man, either I'm hating or I think he marches through Jermell and the rest of 154.

Ryan showed some grit tonight that some of us were questioning if he had. He dug in, and pulled out a hard fought win, and I give him infinite credit for it. Reminded me of Oscar and Quartey to a degree. That being said, I know this is NSB, so according to most, he's either gonna be a bum or a Hall of Famer after tonight. Just hold your horses everyone. I saw great things, and I saw some weaknesses. 1.) He struggled with that southpaw straight left. He kept leaning into the path of the punch. If I'm Loma, I'm begging for this fight right now

So let me preface my comments with this. I've only seen the Bellew fight, and his first fight at HW. I hear people saying that he's had one of the best Cruiserweight runs ever, and that he'll be a problem at HW. I saw him struggle with Bellew, despite the biased commentary imo.. Therefore, guys like Fury, Joshua, I don't see him faring well against them... Don't take this as hate, I just wanna be recommended a fight or maybe something I'm missing that can help me see it...

Mann I miss Pirog. I would've loved to see him against the current crop at 154-60. I think he cleans both Charlos up.

Does anyone here believe that Charlo can beat Canelo? Not really trying to argue or belittle your stance, just curious as to how you think he can get it done?

I'm gonna go with the obvious pick and say Khan, and his inability to take a punch. If he had a beard, he'd be a HOF.

This could be a blessing in disguise for the fans. If both outfits put on competing cards, could lead to fights we actually want to see.

What strategy do you give either fighter

I feel like this fight could be a really good matchup. No hate, just wondering how do you see this one going? And i already know it probably wont happen so there's no need to reiterate that. Your Thoughts

What's the strategy you would employ. How would you beat froch?

Going into the fight I was worried that AA might catch him with his hands down and lay something heavy on him. He did connect quite a few times, and Dirrell stayed in the pocket and fired back, even knocking him down. Aside from the DQ discussion, was anyone else impressed by that?

I would love to know why he's just seen as guaranteed to win? I feel like Pavlik should be the favorite. Am I crazy?

There are a lot of posters on here saying that Floyd is a powder puncher, and he has no power at all. Imo, he hits just as hard as Pacquiao does, he just doesn't let his hands go like Pac. But, in terms of one punch power it's about equal from what I've seen. The only WW that I can say definitely hits harder than Floyd is SMM and he hits harder than everyone...lol Thoughts?

Does his performance against Martinez hurt his chances of beating Floyd? I know that a lot of people that I've talked to said that Paul beats Floyd because he throws so many punches. I always thought that that was more of a weakness than a strength. What I mean by that, is Paul is terrible at keeping distance, his best tool at welterweight, and he leaves a lot of openings for counter punchers. Now, the idea behind Paul beating Floyd is that he throws a lot of punches, but in contrast, Floyd potshots. I know that for the early part of his career, Floyd threw combinations. I don't think that May just forgot how to throw combinations. Thoughts?

Now, let me start off by saying that I know B-Hop probably won't fight Chad. But, I'm not in such a rush to sign him off as getting a one sided beating. I've heard a lot of people say that it's going to be like Taylor-Hopkins all over again. But, Taylor and Dawson are two diff. fighters imo. In the second Tarver fight, Antonio was able to make it unnecessarily close by getting physical with Dawson. As we all know, Hopkins can make Charlize Theron look ugly...lol...so I could see him pulling this fight out in an ugly, disgusting, horrible, mockery of a boxing match that would leave the Marquees of Queensbury turning in his grave...lol

Just rewatch the Froch/Dirrell fight. That's exactly why he never went over there. Why train for 4-6 months for a superfight that you clearly win, and get robbed like the Matrix did on Saturday. Calzaghe's got nothing on Froch. Joe would at least slap you on your arms and pull 8 or 9 rounds (somehow). Froch punched the air and beat Dirrell...lol

Say they fight @ 170, like Pavlik. Could he take the Executioner out?

Everytime he's placed in a fantasy matchup against someone they always say, "Hearns had a glass chin." What's up with that?

I was watching the Mayweather/Judah with a friend and I told him that Floyd was just outboxing him. And he said, "What does that mean." And I couldn't put into words...lol
