Mayweather's power = to Manny's

There are a lot of posters on here saying that Floyd is a powder puncher, and he has no power at all. Imo, he hits just as hard as Pacquiao does, he just doesn't let his hands go like Pac. But, in terms of one punch power it's about equal from what I've seen. The only WW that I can say definitely hits harder than Floyd is SMM and he hits harder than everyone...lol Thoughts? No, Pacquiao's power comes from his explosiveness and punching angles. Floyd's power is a little underrated, but he isn't a puncher. In the lower weight classes he could bang though.

Floyd does have power, like most pro boxers, but the point is, would Floyd KO Cotto? No because he has a defensive style.

Tell floyd to man up and take the fight. Tell Manny to man up and take the test. You don't need 24 days to recover from a pint of blood.

In terms of power at welterweight: Pacquiao > Mayweather. At lightweight it is about even but at welterweight, Pacquiao is way higher than Floyd.

agreed. but im saying that he wasnt near the caliber of fighter when he fought pac that he was when fighting may. Hatton was just a bloated WW he's not belong to the WW class. And add to the fact that floyd was help by cortez that night.

Oh well, Floyd is a technical boxer. There are boxers, and there are fighters. He knows when to fight offensively, and when to fight defensively. He's not an aggressive offensive boxer, but he's the best accurate puncher.
