Ryan showed some grit tonight that some of us were questioning if he had. He dug in, and pulled out a hard fought win, and I give him infinite credit for it. Reminded me of Oscar and Quartey to a degree.
That being said, I know this is NSB, so according to most, he's either gonna be a bum or a Hall of Famer after tonight. Just hold your horses everyone. I saw great things, and I saw some weaknesses.
1.) He struggled with that southpaw straight left. He kept leaning into the path of the punch. If I'm Loma, I'm begging for this fight right now
Ryan still needs to develop. There’s a lot of talent to work with but his defense is terrible. I know Ryan is eager to prove himself but if I were Oscar I would slow him down.
Right. But that Garcia never avoided that left. The Garcia that was out there tonight, Lomachenko opens up a left hand festival
true, that's if he doesn't get caught with a right hand he got dropped with vs linares.......so it's a more dangerous fight for loma imo than haney
Agreed very good win, showed us new qualities. Mainly heart and grit. But showed us glaring flaws. Very flat footed, gets wild which Eddie reynoso scolded him for, and gets lazy on defense.
He knocked Campbell out so the guy is clearly number 1 in the division and will dominate it.
But then Campbell put him down easily so he is clearly massive hype job who ain't guna do Jack chit against top boys.
I will have to agree to disagree with myself.
if was loma i'd go for the weakest puncher in haney!
ryan has the size, speed and power
Yeah, I think if anything he should land the rematch with Teo. All of these other guys are natural 135 lbers and are the cream of the crop.. he should just stay below 130..
