People here are talking financial concepts. Sorry that we're operating over your head.
But if you have relevant points, please join in.
So what if i don't know about the financial business. It bothers you what firm Pac chooses to handle his finance.
So, the members here just went from PED experts to lawyers and now financial advisors.
I went to a bachelor party a couple of years ago. There was this guy, a friend of the groom, boasting he is a financial consultant. So i went to my friend(uncle of the groom) and inquire about the financial consultant. My friend just told me that he is a bank teller.
Flomos just keep referring to the 1st negotiations. They don't refer to the 2nd negotiation(or an attempt to a 2nd one).
If Floyd really want to fight Pac, then how come he choose Ortiz over Pac on his comeback. First he said he has no intention of fighting, then when Pac-JMM was announced, his back.
We will only know what else demand of Mayweather and if Pac will agree to it on a new negotiations for their fight.
Yes, they eat dog in Philippines. Its use as a pulutan(finger food) when drinking alcohol. What i notice when i go on vacation in Philippines was it was mostly college age male. Not the rich ones or came from a well to do family. Its moslty the below middle level or poor. But its a small percentage of Filipinos who eat dogs.
The brother of my ex-gf offered me but i said no. I actually seen a group of guys holding up with rope around its neck. The dog was gagging for air.
In MMA/UFC, they're getting the fights that are suppose to be happnening and the fights that the fans are actually calling for. Cant say the same for boxing. We get fights that are forced upon us and shoved down our throats.
Some, but not all.
Who in their right mind would move up in weight to fight a guy a who lost his last three fights?
Actually, 3 out of 4 fights. He had a tune up fight.
Well, i would pick this as Martinez first fight at smw. Sergio will get better paid than fighting here in the US.
Sergio is trying to fight big names that bring big money, he's tired of fighting risky fights with low profit.
He's not getting any younger.
Sergio can make money by fighting Kessler and Abraham in Europe. Don't know about fighting Dirrell or Ward here in the US.
Not a big fan of Khan here but Amir by UD but i am gonna root for Zab Judah.
Of course Roger wants Zab to beat Khan, i mean Khan has been calling out Floyd. You know what happens when Floyd is being called out.
So, why then would Floyd need a tune up fight before fighting Pac when Floyd is going the better fighter in Ortiz after a long vacation?
Answer: Cuz Floyd will go on vacation again for more than a year. Then announce he will be coming back, fight another opponent who he can beat(no matter what the age or coming of a win or not). Then if Pac is already showing the wear and tear and suffers a defeat, then Floyd is gonna fight Pac. But if Pac is still winning, then he will go on vacation again.
So, where is the emails then. How come they hasn't showed it.
BTW, according to the USADA, ost is year round. So has Floyd been tested since the Mosley fight.
The fight will never happen.
Floyd ask more than 50 percent. That was the 1st obstacle but an agreement was made on the purse split.
Then the OST came, well we know what happen. 2nd obstacle, it work, fight not happening.
Now remember(guys don't have amnesia) that Jeff or Roger said that Floyd also wanted a representive from each camp to be present on the opposing camp. This is the 3rd obstacle in case the OST was agree on by Pacquiao team.
A Pacquiao-Mayweather have the possibility of being the highest ppv sale and highest earning boxing event. BUT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. This fight will just be the most anticipated fight but that is how far it will goes.
Yes, i do. JMM wanted this fight and called Floyd out. My problem with this is Floyd didn't make the agreed catchweight of 144. I don't think the cw will affect the weight, the outcome would still be the same. Its just you agree to a cw, then you should abide by it. And letting the smaller JMM come after the bigger Floyd.
Still gives him credit.
JMM also called out Floyd, so you credit Floyd's victory?
Yes. If you look at the other thread like this about Floyd-JMM by the same TS, you will find my reply. http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=487978&page=6
