Put Brandon Rios on there strictly for the lulz
I can imagine Rios saying " aye foool, subway eat fresh mothrfocker!" I don't think it will work.I think they should use B-suth, if his elite boxer physique doesn't inspire you to eat at subway, I don't know what will.
I am enjoying this one.
White boy is sneaky.....
Gonna be good. Mansour is so old but he keeps himself in shape it looks like.
He's looking like a white shot hw version of toney in there. lol
I guess we have to rely on ShoBox and the PBC stuff to get our weekly friday fix.
Man, I am worried about fridays now.....
We should be worried, its going to be Friday Night Mismatches from now on.
Yes they can, PBC commentators are a good example. They got this old guy that can't even tell which punch is landing while going "ooohhh!! What a punch!" to a sound of a punch getting blocked with the gloves. Then you got ray leonard who's just there to be impressed and to tell us just how impressive the a side fighter is.
Mcgregor lived up to the hype. He's got the best boxing in the ufc. I wanted him to win because of his boxing background, when he threw combinations it was beautiful.
I know it might not mean much but I can't help but point out that Keith Thurman did better against chaves. Bradley a widely regarded top 10 p4p fighter barely beat a guy that Thurman stopped, yet people shyt on Thurman's resume. Thurman beat chaves 2 year ago.
Roy Jones lacked technical skills, he relied on his athleticism.
That athleticism and reflexes you speak of were other worldly, ya'll must have forgot.
Honestly that's what bothers me, Bradley is a top p4p fighter and he struggled against what I initially saw as over-matched opposition. I was also really hoping he would give Chavez an ass whopping, I don't like that dirty *******. Still, Bradley deserved to win for sure. **** boxing.
I think chaves is better than we give him credit for. I was surprised at how comfortable Chaves looked when he had to box with bradley. Bradley won the rounds clear when he got inside and worked the body.
Rigondeaux is a special talent, his fights are not exciting because he's operating at a higher level than anybody they put in front him. Also he DGAF about pleasing the fans and in turn the majority of fans are turned off by his style. Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit, but at the end of the day it's also entertainment and we all tune in hoping for a spectacular display of unscripted pugilistic violence between both combatants.
Personally I see it as an incredible win by one of the sports finest. Perfect way to seal the rivalry that consisted of so many elements. The blatant disrespect by so many "fans of the sport" seems a tad bit too much at times.
Listen, I hate seeing my favourite boxer lose too... but until proven to be a cheat, I will always give a fighter his respect. After all, I am a fan of the sport.. not just a fighter :)
Ohh no doubt, marquez is a great fighter and one I enjoy watching. He's practically unknockoutable with his guile and atg toughness. I love how he just starts letting his hands go when he's hurt and up against the ropes, pure badazz.
What's everyone rankings as a promoter so far?
I'm ranked #10 but only because i came in like Jay-Z and started buying up top amateur prospects and a couple top contenders. Now i just realize I probably won't make enough revenue for the year to renew my fighters' contracts. lol but I do have THE next big superstar out of asia after pac, Bin Hsi fights at 122 16(12)-1 power and elite speed. I reckon he'll unify the division..all the other champs are weak sauce. He's my meal ticket to the big show, hbo ppv. lol
It was perfect timing, he knew he was coming in and placed a short straight right on the button. Now the first KD, that was suspect...lol Marquez was most likely on PEDs that night, he was definitely hitting harder starting from the third fight, but is what is, he passed the drug test.
I love this game, I'm hooked big time. I purchased some points because I don't have the patience to work my way up..Lol and also to compensate the creator of the game on all the time and effort he put in.
