Ok so let me get this straight, danny, matthyse, zab, Peterson, have to fight each other while khan just fights low class opponents! How unfair is that, I understand he brings in money but why should the winner have to face him? Exactly! You took the words right outta my mouth.i still remember the night pacquiao beat Diaz at 135 khan had about his 8th pro fight on itv and proclaimed that he could beat manny or Diaz-I'm always rooting for his opponent- he just grates on me,I find Peterson, Ricky burns amongst others to be humble whereas khan I find to be a mouthy prick. If it does happen , it won't be khans next fight., not according to Schaefer . He's already said that khan will fight again in December against the winner of Garcia vs Peterson/mattehysse which will take place in September- although why khan is the prize when Garcia and Peterson have already beaten him. Ellerbe done an interview the other day saying- floyd loves the uk and its fans, that their coming over at the end of this year to do some things I.e talk shows. If he fights over here it will either be next may or nov/ dec. khan will probably be the opponent has he is a gbp fighter and is more well known in America and worldwide than Kell brook, of course if brook can win a belt at 147 and khan gets ko'ed again then this could change.

floyd vs manny was first mentioned after manny beat oscar then after he knocked out hatton the clamour for it grew then manny beat cottoand thats when they started negotiating.if the fight had happened then,manny was on the crest of a wave.but its more than two years since then and for me in his last 4 fights (clottey,margarito,mosley,marquez) manny has looked nothing like he did in those 3 previous fights.if they eventually fight later this year,for me thats 3 years since it should of happened.i expect floyd to win a clear ud if not by stoppage.its such a shame this never happened in 2009.back then everyone around the world wanted to see the fight now people have grown tired of it.

pretty much agree with everyone else on canelo,can see gbp keeping his fights in-house.plus theres plenty more NAMES! around 154 that he could fight to pad out his record i.e mosley,p williams etc.this is not what i want to see but its a fact that this is how it works-start off fighting bums then gradually start fighting NAMES that are over the hill( example amir khan vs barrera)just to note that there is a recent oscar interview on here where he says gbp are only interested in making the fights that the fans want to see.so we can expect canelo vs martinez or cotto then!

Thing is, as everyone's said, he's beaten Froch,Kessler etc so there's no real challenges at super middle at the moment. He can't go down in weight and in the division above he's beaten the top guy( Dawson) so don't know where he can go. Says he won't fight Hopkins? His options are- stay at smw and just clean up or hope the likes of Stevenson or groves win a title and are put forward as a threat- go up to lhw and fight Dawson at 175 then cleverly?

I got Broner. Mainly because of the weight class he campaigns at. Ward is good now, but there's really no one for him to fight that will give him the boost he needs to be P4P #1. In 3-5 years the Super Six will be old news. If Broner is still undefeated and has went through names like Peterson, Matthysse, Khan etc. He'll probably be #1. If not Broner, then it'll definitely be someone around that weightclass. P4P ranking isn't just about skills these days. It's a lot of other factors at play too it seems. Like popularity, if you're getting knockouts, etc. So fighting in the most popular division or near it can definitely help your case these days. Guys like Rigo and Mares are too small and won't ever make it close to that point imo, although they have the skillset. I agree entirely, no one for ward to fight. I'd go broner because there's more big name match ups around 147

Any of these would be good match ups- personally I'd like to see him vs khan to see how he deals with him as he's also very fast, I'd also like to see a fight with Garcia - what a great build up that would be, angel Garcia and broner per fight would be priceless! i have to agree with everyone else,there is no blueprint on how to beat floyd.just to say that i'm a massive manny fan and would love him to beat that flash pr1ck but dont think it wil happen.theres no blueprint to beat floyd but there does seem to be one to beat manny which is counter-punching of which fmj is probably the best out there.i did think that manny lost against jmm last saturday-i think judging by his reaction at the end-he did too.regarding beating floyd-fights come down to who can implement their style on the fight,for instance hatton - who i so wanted to win-said that he was gonna pin floyd against the ropes and throw his hooks to the body and be in his face,but in reality floyd caught him coming in with straight rights and then tied him up,i dont think hatton threw 1 body shot.

benn vs mcclellan-obviously a tragedy what happened to mcclellan but the fight had me transfixed.castillio/corrales 1,barrera/morrales,gatti/ward were all unbelivable and any of them would do the trick.the 1st pavlik/taylor fight deserves a mention too.

ive just read that gbp are planning a massive night for british boxing on april 16th 2011 with khan fighting someone in the u.k while haye vs wlad takes place in vegas.my question is this-arum has booked the mgm for that date for most likely manny vs mosley so theres no way in hell that khan fights the same night -roach wouldnt be able to be in khans corner and where would they hold haye wlad in vegas with manny/mosley at the mgm-theres no way this can happen!

since 2006 mannys record reads,morales,solis,barrera,marquez,diaz,oscar,hatton,cotto, clottey,margarito and now mosley.u may be right in that some of those were coming off of a loss or were on the slide,but up until diaz he was at super feather.in those next 5 fights hes gone thru 3 weight divisions. in july 2007 when the fearsome,avoided welterweight antonio margarito who fought paul williams,whilst manny was fighting barrera at super feather,if someone told you that in 3 years time manny would not only fight him but beat him to a pulp you'd have said they were mad.in the future people will look back on his record and be impressed by the names one after another and not care about them being weight drained,coming off a loss etc
