Dude I'm saying khan shouldn't have to fight these bums in Carlos Molina and David Diaz then be placed in apposition where 4 of the best 140 pounders have to square off while khan relaxes fighting bums. He should have to fight a contender to be placed in the mixOf course he should. That is the way a tournament is supposed to work. Everyone starts from the beginning and only advance if they win. The four other guys must beat two very good fighters to fight Khan while Khan fights hand picked softies he can easily beat. That's the way Schaefer wanted it.It won't save Khan when he has to face the winner of the real 4 man tournament which is a good tournament. Khan is not winning this tournament no matter how Schaefer stacks the deck in his favor unless he has had a chin transplant.

I personally think it's because of Khan's susceptibility to getting stretched out out. If they included him from the gitgo, he wouldn't last 2 fights before the KO. Now, they can include him and mitigate the KO aspect while capitalizing on the money factor that he brings along. It shows their lack of confidence in him but they can spin it like he is still some kind of shot caller I guess.

Nobody should have an issue with this considering that Lamont has the IBF belt, Garcia has the WBA and WBC, and Matthyse has the interim belt. So, all the champions are fighting each other. The person that unifies gets to fight Khan. By then, I'd expect Khan to have risen up the ranks for a title shot anyways. yep great wins over carlos molina,julio diaz, and humberto soto.
