Wow. Degale look like a broken man here. Seriouly he looks a really funny colour and looks like he's about to start crying at the end of the video.
I really think that loss will effect him mentaily and he really isn't the same fighter anymore.
Awww poor Degale I do actually feel sorry for him in a way. He needs to find a way to put thisnbehind him cos the guy is a good fighter. Bit of a dick at times like
i dont know if anyone else noticed but at dgales post fight press conference with him, warren and jim mcdonnell/it looked like warren wasent very happy with mcdonnell/when he spoke, warrren sort of dismissed him and butted in.would you be suprised if ala khan ,the trainer gets fired to make it look like it was his fault.nice when the cocky ones lose, hamed, khan etc
Yeah i noticed this, Warren was sort of pointing towards tactics and what he was being told inbetween rounds and Mcdonnell was trying to stick up for himself, i can see Warren suggesting to James about a new trainer.......

prior to this thread, i hadnt seen interviews with either fighter.
Ive just watched the faceoff..
groves came across much better and as imwriting this, im actually watching theri fight and with degales attitude, im just loving that i, have groves winning the fight.
Grvoes presented his point of view in a nice and logical manner and on occasions threw some jabs at degale, whereas degale just tried to smacktakl, but couldnt even pull that of.
i can easelyunderstand, why the public was rooting for the much more well mannered groves.
with all the hype degale recieved, im hugely dissapointed. This wasnt a just a lucky punch, he was getting outboxed, but he does have a good chin and seems to be comfortable while fighting.
one of the commentators on sky sports is on helluva retard, probably one of the worst assesments of rounds ive come across. He would praise degale on too msny occasions, where groves got the better of their exchanges.
Personally i see degale as a guy, who is going to comeback. but unless he polishes up on his skills and tactics, he wont come close the reaching his hype or potential.+
Looked a very dejected and mentally shot fighter on the speed ball. But that is understandable because it is so soon after the loss. His mental strength will now be tested.
I think his trainer was the wrong guy. He seemed like one of those guys that fighters have in their entourage who sucks up to them constantly. Except he was the trainer and he is supposed to keep him on the ground instead of being a cheerleader.
Looks as if he takes it real hard. Still the fight hasnt been over long so I wouldn't put that much emphasis on his rather dejected appearance here. We'll see how he responds next time he gets fed a live opponent.
Khans loss was a first round KO, which certain ex fighters say is a better loss to comeback from, as you havn't been outboxed and taken a beating over 12 rounds.
Losing to a domestic level fighter over 12 rounds when your an olympic champion is a tough one to comeback from. I think he can do it, if he stops with the shi* talk and gets a decent trainer
"I just saw him sitting there riding his mouth and thought 'you know what, I don't want to give him a pay day. Let's do winner-takes-all'," 'Chunky' told Sky Sports News HD.
"He didn't want to do it, but I put him in a situation where he had to do it. In front of all these people here, live on television, he had to do it.
"He's a very brave boy.
"Adam Booth will probably sort him out when he gets knocked out. He (Booth) has got enough money."
"But I can't think of how he's going to be beat me. I'm a bit baffled (over it). Obviously they've got a game plan but I just can't see me losing.
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
He has just lost the biggest fight of his life what did you expect a song and dance?
If a fighter wasn't disappointed about losing to one of their rivals i would say there was something wrong with them.
I have no doubt DeGale will get himself together and will come back better then ever like Khan did.
I just want Groves to slap the s'hit out of stuttering Johnny Nelson for counting him out completely before the fight. Not only Johnny but 99% of the so called boxing experts in Britain did not even Groves a punchers chance of winning. I had Degale as favourite but I always added to that the fact that these two are very early in their fights and are so inexperienced and it showed.
Degale had no answers to Groves's game plan and was pretty much made to look a fool.
But I get the feeling by looking at the clip that Degale actually thought he was untouchable and now he has no idea about what to do next.
i dont think they get along
Oh really? I can't help but feel sorry for him actually despite him being such an ass pre-fight and even before.
And LMAO at Defail calling Groves by his name. In the entire build up all he did was call groves ugly boy and now he's call him by his full name :lol1: It's 2 funny how humbled he got!
Props for noticing. I completely forgot.
