I think the real reason pac is fighting shane is that he regrets being a coward before we all know that shane mosley came to the gym twice and both times camp pacquaio said NO to the fight,now I think pac wants to build his self esteem up by fighting mosley. I am sick of hearing crap like this from people who can't stand to give him any credit at all. Can people really not just accept that he's a great fighter? let me say this, I am not here to defend everything he does, especially his most recent choice of opponent but the fact is he is a great fighter. Diaz is a lousy opponent, but show me someone with no padding on their record. Cotto was a great win, he was competitive and gave Pac a lot of trouble early. Manny just ended up getting through and landed some great stuff Cotto couldn't see coming. Clottey was not a very good choice on paper and a worse one in reality and Margarito was a terrible choice, perfect style for Pac who did nothing recently to earn that fight as well but some blame has to go to Bob Arum for those disgraceful in-house fund raisers as well as Pac. Mosley hasn't won a fight in Two years. He quit against Floyd when things didn't go his way and couldn't beat Mora who he woud have handled easily if he were yonger. But lets not forget before we make ecuses for all his opponents that He wiped them all out. As I have said, Manny is not perfect but you can not deny he is not one hell of a fighter. since 2006 mannys record reads,morales,solis,barrera,marquez,diaz,oscar,hatton,cotto, clottey,margarito and now mosley.u may be right in that some of those were coming off of a loss or were on the slide,but up until diaz he was at super feather.in those next 5 fights hes gone thru 3 weight divisions. in july 2007 when the fearsome,avoided welterweight antonio margarito who fought paul williams,whilst manny was fighting barrera at super feather,if someone told you that in 3 years time manny would not only fight him but beat him to a pulp you'd have said they were mad.in the future people will look back on his record and be impressed by the names one after another and not care about them being weight drained,coming off a loss etc
