Look at Gatti's, Mcguigan, Jeff fenech, many hall of famers resume's and compare it to Mayweather at just 27-28 and his resume is better than theres and several of them
G. Hernandez had one loss and was undefeated at 130 when floyd beat him at 21.....he was the number 1 junior lightweight...guess you never saw him fight or heard of him
Corrales was undefeated and elite as well, was actually the favorite
Carlos Hernandez and jesus chavez went on to win world titles at 130 after mayweather defended against them
Castillo was elite and was the best lightweight before Mayweather came to 135 and remained 1 or 2 until he moved up from 135
by 2005.....Floyd won 2 lineal titles 11 total defenses and a 3rd title at 140
he also defeated former champions Genaro Hernandez, Corrales, Jesus Chavez, Goyo Vargas, Gatti, Corely, Sharmba Mitchell, Castillo,
3 divisional titles by age 28, if he retired then , he'd have still made the hall
many fighters have done less and got in :smashfrea
Thanks for repeating wht i just said except those fighters u mentioned like Sharmba( he fought him at welterweight btw) , Vargas, Chavez , Hernandez? thts a joke dude sorry, who else u gonna throw in there Angel Manfredy?lol, paper champions, but when Floyd finally fought a real champ like Castillo he lost, u dont need to repeat wht Floyd had done i already know tht, boxing hall of fame is not hard to get into, i agree many have done less and got in, but to say he had a hall of fame resume by 2009 is a joke, by 2005 Cotto defeated 3 undefeated champions. Maybe its not Floyds fault tht the division was weak but he sure didnt look for the tougher fights. Maybe by boxings standards he wouldve gotten in anyway but so did Sylvester Stallone and he wasnt even a real fighter lol . Also the names on Floyds resume from 2006 on is better but too bad they were all who were either inexperienced or washed up, overall Floyd is really a fraud. Good talking to u though
