Nah, the casual fans over here in UK consider him the best P4P fighter in the world now mayweathers gone, because he is so destructive in his weight division. Brook isnt low risk, will never understand why hes getting made out to be some walkover. Really isnt that big a size difference and brook is a world class fighter ffs, you clowns make it sound like hes some bum. 36-0 ffs. Think hes going to do a hell of a lot better than you lot think.
brook is 36-0 with literally one top ten opponent on his ledger..its a fact bro...the rest of his opponents are euro level, domestic types
guys like Bud, Ward, Khan, DSGarcia, Bradley have far better resume and took more risks than Brook and they have less fights, its about quality not quantity
he is barely proven at 147 let alone above the weight
"not that big of size difference" GGG comes in fight night over 170, he'll have at least ten pounds on Brook, mark my words.
Prime Roy beats the dog **** outta dude
it wouldnt go the distance.
ggg is TOO slow
doesnt go over 7 rounds
ggg has damn near NO head movement is too slow only has "middleweight power" thus the reason he has never stepped up the only version of roy jones he could even conceivably hang with is the roy jones that came down from heavyweight and deskroyed his body in the process
Makes no sense. A boxing division is composed by millions of people all over the world. There's one guy beating every MW, that's it.
Oh, because see his pro record says 35 fights, so I didn't know he fought every single MW (b- and below of course). Thanks for clearing that up.
they are ducking though, canelo ducked him, eubank ducked him, saunders ducked him, miguel ducked him.
keep fighting the good fight bro...ive been around boxing, followed boxing to long to believe every decent fighter on the entire planet from 154-168 wont sign to fight this guy but a welterweight with one top ten win (Brook) will.
they got an opponent with low-risk, with a name and nationality that brings in money....UK are some of the best fans in boxing and fill up stadiums.
they knew ppv was gonna flop here in the stats, no one even knows who this guy is because they dont know his opponents. thats the problem
I have friends and fam who are boxing fans and they literally say, " GGG is a good fighter but IDK anyone he fights"
im sure you've heard this too at fight parties or chilling with friends talking boxing
He ducked Ward you coward. What did Sergio do when he was ducked at 154 you wimp?
He was offered a career highest payday to fight Paul Williams at 160. That's what he did.
When exactly did GGG duck Ward? when Ward offered the fight and GGG was about to unify 160? or when GGG accepted the fight and Ward said he couldn't because he needed surgery on his shoulder?
ComicDon has others things to do friends but I'm going to summarize the points made in this thread for anyone interested.
Roy Jones whitewashes GGG because GGG couldn't stop Murray before round 11 and everyone he fights sucks and everyone Jones fought was awesome even the green Hopkins and the weight drained, twice defeated Toney. But don't worry because Toney's two gift decisions came in fights he was super drained in, he was only kinda drained against Roy.
And if you didn't know now you do because Roy Jones can: Walk on water, fly through space, sleep through fire, and still kick your favorite boxers ass on the same night.
All Hail King Roy Jones Jr.
Yeah, that's about right. Roy Jones was an awesome fighter but trying to dig up boxers from the past to beat GGG shows how desperate you lil bozos are. We already have King Kell Brook to do that come September 10th.
And PS RealIdiot stop being an oversensitive man child, you wouldn't know a fact if face fuqed you. Was that one a little too much?
This must be bozo season because all the bozos are in full force today. Grammer mofo, have you ever learned to use it? Can't take a grown man serious who can't even put an apostrophe in doesn't. Don't worry i fixed it for you.
Toney was still considered pound for pound because he received two unjust decisions. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say have the correct verdicts been given out those nights he wouldn't have been on anyone's pound for pound list. He was a false pound for pound fighter to say the least when he fought Jones.
this is a boxing forum.....thanks for illustrating how weak you opinion is by not supporting it with facts like I did
some fighters are erratic, some nights they bring it, other nights they are lax...doesnt change the fact toney took more risks, yes he has some loses but he also beat better fighters than GGG by a country mile and beat great fighters to be considered one of the best in the world while GGG ko no names...how'd he get in the top ten p4p, beating Geale who Cotto blitzed, or never was murray who literally lost to every world rated fighter he faced. yea thats the opposition legends are made from bwahahahahahahahahaha
Toney fought elite opposition,.....GGG has not
facts
:smashfrea
I'm not saying GGG is a bum. I'm a fan of his, believe it or not. It's just that certain fans think he walks on water.
Possibly. The problem with GGG fans is that we're not able to see our fighter tested against the best MWs. All we know is that they say stuff like "he's the best of my generation", "he's off the charts", "he would beat both of us on the same night", but they don't fight him. It's a pity. When Martinez and Sturm/Geale didn't want to fight him, he said ok I'll fight Pirog. He ducked no one.
Am I saying that he can walk on water? nope.
whos to say the supermiddle weights wont duck him, especially if he goes up there and looks great in his first fight. Degale, jack and ramirez is hardly murderers row is it, would think he would be pretty clear favourite over all 3. And you lot would still be hating if he won, cause they arent elite p4p level fighters either, would be saying hes not proven anything until he goes to 175. And Wade was just one example, GGG is NOT a big middleweight, not open to debate.
use common sense man.....these guys fight for a living...im sure its a few guys who opted out of fighting him but if you think every one in the top ten from 154-168 was called on to fight him, you are slow.
his team are picking and choosing who they fight based on money and risk
it makes no sense how a 10 + year pro in his mid 30s has a resume so pathetic but is so hyped.
its piss or get off the pot time...its been since 2013, its like beating a dead horse.
its obvious its more to why his competition is weak, and its not just "dey duckinig doe!!!"
toney was overrated? you know when he was at 160 he actually fought elite guys like Reggie johnson(who won title at160 n 175)....michael nunn(who went on to be lineal at 168, was lineal at 160) and mike mccallum(who also won title at 175, 154, and 160)
either way, doesn't change the fact that when Toney was considered a p4p guy he actually beat people who mattered.
GGG got it based on style and not substance.
Toney is similar in size to GGG, actually may be shorter but he won titles at 160, 168 and 190...he took risks
if he is overrated, you must think GGG is the most overrated of all time

Fuq out of here with that BS, Toney was overrated as hell and was given two gift decisions (one he outright admitted to being one) against Geale level opponents.
Oh but he beat a green Hopkins, that has to mean something. If Jones talents were undeniable than so are GGG's so feel me bro.

And you'll take Golovkin in every hole you racist sissy
Learn the definition of racist bozo and holla back at me with how I'm racist. Oh, I get it, you use racist for anyone who disagrees with you, how feminine. This post further proves my point, you have now evolved from numbskull to nincompoop, congratz.
