Been Told That Cotto-Maidana are getting close to a deal

Sounds like a good, fan friendly fight. I'd buy that PPV and hope that they add in a decent undercard. I could do without the concerts though. :lol1:

A plastered Marg and Pacman, 2 guys Chino would have not last half the fight with, comparing whether one has been stopped and the other hasnt is illogical due to the better opposition and punchers that Cotto has faced. if Chino fought some of the guys Cotto fought he wouldve got Koed more than once, so lets be real here

Just got this from a friend who works with Cotto. He told me they already offered the fight to chino at 154 and are waiti g for an answer. He told me there is a 95% chance it happens. October or december in new york This would be a huge fight if it happens, Cotto is over the hill and would get stopped, but it's still a quality name. Canelo would be shook.

I want to believe it would be the type of fight it could be...but Chino seems too removed from the sport to jump right back in and be in the kind of shape tat will allow him to be as vicious and he will need to be. I miss him being around though, so whatever ...I'd be right there watching.

This would have been a fking awesome fight had Chino not let himself go for so long. No one is going to believe that he is going to have much of a chance at this point. Esp fighting this year, without a tune-up.

chino's with haymon, so it's not happening. roc nation and haymon haven't done business yet and it won't start now.
