Netflix and Amazon were already established brands when they launched their streaming services. DAZN is starting from absolute zero.not true at all..Boxing is just the newest edition to the app..I have NFL,MLB,NBA,PGA,TWA,all the soccer in europe etc on DAZN here in Canada for 15US dollars a month..NFL used to cost me 200 dollars a year now its pennies because of DAZN
I say World cup hangover..England went to the semis in the tournament and lots of fans traveled to Russia..Lots of Russians will be seeing the fight too
Im a big Fury fan and dont think hes ready,Wilder got him at the right time to put him on his resume..I think Wilder will stun him with his left then go for the kill.
they wanted aj next, they were willing to take the flat fee for a fight this year NOT 04/2019. turning down 50mil is ducking is turning down a flat fee is ducking.Wilder wanted the fight on showtime in sept on ppv to get his cut..How you gonna do that when canelo ggg fight is in sept???The fight was always was gonna be on DAZN in the US..Both fighters want the fight undisputed trumps mandos and WBO knows that
Man Wilder will never agree to fight on DAZN. The app is trash and has no US subscribers.Wake up thats why the fights not happening he wants it on showtime to be loyal ..DAZN is not trash its not even out in the US yet lmao.. I have it here in Canada and save tons on my cable bill..
Its trash. Hearn promotes it like its shaking up the market for consumers when really its just more money in the pot for boxers and a few more mediocre cards in the United States(That you have to pay for).
ESPN + has fights, a library of old fights, MLB, NHL, MLS, NCAA games, and more... + Documentaries and cost $5 a month.
For $10 a month you only get Matchroom cards, Super Series, and Bellator with DAZN. Trash value.
You forgot all the NFL,MLB,GOLF,ATP Tennis..Those cost a fortune here in Canada and android boxes are a waste of time
You dont get a percentage if its on DAZN thats why wilder wants half wake up ..Showtime is not gonna be involved, thats why the fight wont happen..Even if Wilder wins he has to fight on DAZN AJs locked in for 3 years..
It should be clear to anyone with half a brain that Eddie Hearn doesn't want AJ to fight Wilder now or perhaps even any earlier than late 2019 or 2020.
We all know boxing is a business and there really is nothing inherently wrong in protecting an investment, in making sure that everything you have built doesn't get unraveled by one tremendous right hand, like what almost happened vs 40-year old Klitschko.
The problem has been approach. Hearn and AJ have done nothing but sell wolf tickets since the Takam fight about how facing Deontay is "inevitable", yet every action they have taken runs counter to making such a fight. They posture like they all they want to do is get Wilder in the ring, only to stall when it comes to contracts and manipulate sanctioning bodies to help them stall.
And that's the problem.
You can't sit there and say you want the fight, then follow that up by doing everything you can to make sure it doesn't happen. Therefore, the following is the stance Eddie Hearn should have taken when asked about a Wilder fight after Takam or Parker:
"Look, AJ is what? Only 20 fights in right? Well the other guy has had twice as many and I didn't see you badgering him to fight Wlad after his 20th fight. We know our guy beats Wilder right now, but we also feel it is a much more difficult fight right now than it will be a year and a half or two years from now. So, Wilder has a choice. He can fight us now, but it will be heavily on our terms and we don't apologize for that, it's just how the risk reward shapes up for us. Or, he can wait until we feel it is an easier fight for AJ, till AJ develops a little further and then we will probably be open to better terms, something a little more lucrative for Wilder. His choice whether he wants to fight us now or later."
At least this would have been a lot more honest and fans would understand this better.
And before you say the fans wouldn't swallow this, think about the lies they have taken as truth already. At least this take is closer to reality...Nope..Wilder wont fight on DAZN thats why the fight wont happen..He believes showtime should get the US PPV rights for the fight and AJ was a showtime fighter..DAZN is not PPV..
The fight will never be on dazn with wilder. Ever. And it says Toronto is your spot? You’re embarrassing us stop postingLMAO learn to read fool..Your not gonna get DAZN on a android box,its gonna be free when you will see AJ Wilder fight on DAZN..But you rather pay 100 bucks to see it on showtime or go to the bar have fun
Doesn’t change the fact that he was completely outmatched technically. Errol looked drained to me so maybe he can gain some of that athleticism back at 154. But that doesn’t help him from a technical standpoint. Maybe he can take Bud’s punches better.
That's was I was thinking as welll
You actually sat through 11 minutes of that? Lmbao.....I swear you guys are their biggest fans.
Yes it's entertaining lololol...You should of seen when Wilder lost
This is Nash's list. How do you all have it?
1. Tyson Fury
2. Deontay Wilder
3. Oleksandr Ducksyk
4. Jared Anderson
5. Zhilei Zhang
6. Filip Hrgovic
7. Frank Sanchez
8. Jarrell Miller
9. Anthony Joshua
10. Derek Chisora PPV
Reasoning:
1. Fury - No explanation needed
2/3. Wilder above Usyk as I believe Wilder wins H2H and Usyk blatantly ducked Fury
4. Anderson. Nash is putting faith in the potential of Anderson in his H2H predicted outcomes
5. Zhang beat Joyce by surprise, removing Joyce from top 10, and also beat Hrgovic in my mind
6. Although Hrgovic was very lucky vs Zhang, he is still right up there.
7. The Cuban flash has a poor resume, but style wise he is a problem
8. Miller is clean but was tainted with bad burger-meat several times by Earn with Hearn. Re-enters after an amazing win over the Great Lucas Browne
9. Joshua - He was once as high as 3 in the world, but 2 losses to Usyk and a debatable points win in a dour fight with Franklin means he is where he belongs for now
10. Chisora - The 4th coming of Chisora, after Delboy, War, and Old, comes Derek Chisora PPV, this version is unbeaten and means business.
Nash out
Wilder number 2 lololol..I don't see anybody he beat in your top 10..He beat the future hall of famer Louis Ortiz
