I totally disagree with your post...
The young generation of fighters is soft, I see a lot of quiters, how peterson quited against Rios was DISGUSTING, same for Alexander against Bradley (it burns!!!!), you talk like he was close to death in the Maidana fight, he just was in a tought fight and quited, you don't do that when you are a professional prize fighter, I'm sorry.
We posters aren't pro fighters, we aren't ready, aren't supposed, aren't paid to do that.
YOU CAN'T tolerate that in boxing, quiting is not boxing, Ortiz was perfectly able to continue.
But he only was 22 years old so it's ok, but look, Morales and Kahn were badly hurt by Maidana, they didn't quit, they acted like a warrior is supposed to, this is boxing not tennis.
Now of course Flomos and Ortiz boys agree with your post.
But the guy in your avi quit in A HUGE fight at the prime age of 29.

I'm not much of a fan but I wish he has a good enough outing that people won't look at him as a bum if he happens to lose. I'm rooting for Manny to win, but won't be upset or surprised if Timmy gets the W
They were after Froch since Chavez fell through last summer, remember those embarrassing Froch quotes from last fall. He was just coming off his 80k Wembley show.
Yes indeed. The ones people use as a partial quote without finishing it? Those ones I do remember
Nothing about Margarito was enough to convince me. He wasn't as smooth as jlc, he wood not catch Floyd flush. He was a plodder and did not have one punch ko power. He didn't use a great jab nor did he have any defense.
He wouldn't have ever dictated the pace vs Floyd and he wouldn't have tired Floyd down. As good as Margs stamina was, Floyd's is maybe as good if not better. This, imo, would have always been an easy night for Floyd. 11-1 type decision
Let the backpedaling begin! ... Now let's hear why Shotime is superior to HBO
ain't gonna happen. Their allegiance has switched from Manny to ggg. hbo is still supreme to the Stumblebums
Look, Manny is a certified legend. He's only one man, he can not fight everyone in their prime on the same night. What he did in his career is amazing. A top 5 fighter of his generation. Just sit back and enjoy his retirement and hope he doesn't go the route of past boxers after their career was over
Forget it Ramirez. You don't bring a name, any fans or ppv money to the table. GGG is only moving up or down for the big money/name guys like Chavez, a semi retired Froch or even the 147 lb king in Floyd.
Why verbally agree to it then? Both sides are morons for this. If I were Porter, I'd take my chance at coming in over but if they do show a contract that states 144, it might cost them
He's in the top 5 of like all the sanctioning bodies.
If he actually wins a title...then maybe there's interest in Ramirez-Golovkin.
Not much right now.
like a boxcino title perhaps?
HBO is going nowhere. They've cemented themselves as a tier 1 brand. All I know is that I want pbc to succeed so the sport can grow as well. Mismatches will be done til the end of time. Clearly no one thought an 80-1 underdog would knock off ggg on HBO did they?
I've enjoyed this year a lot. Fights are being made and shown on multiple platforms. Top Rank has their guys so they'll be ok. But i like that HBO is working with gb, k2, me and others
Since the fight is over I wish we could know if the rumors were true of Floyd getting worked in sparring.
Mislead rumors imo. But if those rumors were true then I'm embarrassed for roach not having another gameplan
Keith Thurman will beat him. Guaranteed. Floyd and Manny looked old tonight.
Good fight. I don't think Thurman is quite ready.. I could see that fight happening next though
Doesn't Cotto have a deal with Canelo? Khan can't fight in December. I honestly have no idea.
A supposed deal, but cotto is a diva and a Floyd fight will supersede a Canelo bout
