25 year old champ, who took the belt on the champions home turf. He seems to haveevery good boxing skill, I would not say he has great power but he throws nice snappy sharp punches.
Nobody ever talks about this cat though and he is one of the best young title holders in the sport.
Anyone else a fan of this man or have any opinion on him at all?
I think the fight will be more exciting than people think. If Pac feels that he can just walk through Bradley, he is gonna do just that...try to punch him out. This alone will make the fight very entertaining and even if he loses to Pac, that doesn't mean anything bad for his career. Losing to either Mayweather or Pac is like having a fight that doesn't count unless you win....no one cares about Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, or Ortiz losing to those guys.
Either way, I can't see Pac running through Bradley and dismissing him like there were on different planets. If it were almost anyone else in there, I'd be for Pac 100% but I just feel that it's destiny for Bradley to shine in this fight.
I agree that Manny will have a hard time walking through him because Bradley will make it difficult, but not in a good way. I just think he will not be able to go that extra mile to actually winning at least if Manny is still the same guy.
There certainly isn't any shame in losing to Manny even badly and it helps him even if he can just prove he belongs in the same ring because that puts him on a certain level no doubt.

As a fan of boxing... Bradley is good..he has won fights decisively against people who everyone thought he should lose too...never the less something about him just doesn't sit right with me... It's one of those things I can't explain.
I think it will be hard for Tim to really take advantage of this oppurtunity.
I don't think he can win but putting that aside, if he is going to do well the more boring and ugly the fight the better his chances are. Even if a guy beats a giant super star in that sort of fashion hard to gain a bunch of fans.
IF the fight is exciting in any way I just don't see how Bradley comes out the better in the end, but Bradley could actually gain more from that than winning ugly in terms of long run appeal.
This is certainly a huge spot for him, and he deserves his chance to prove if he is on that level or not.

To me it was just a fight that didn't happen there were reasons it didn't (promotional issues being the main one).
It would have been cool if it did, but it is nothing for me to get twisted about.
How can you be a fan of Tim after he ducked Khan? That was a bltch move, and shows he's not willing to fight all comers.
Because it led to the fight he wanted, at the expense of his reputation I'll grant you but he wanted to fight someone better, and took the risk to get that fight. Not denying the duck, but it worked out exactly how he wanted it to.
I will say this if Manny isn't the Manny we all know then Bradley's chances grow dramatically.
I can't say that at this point though, JMM always gave Manny problems and Mosley bascially dusted off Barrera's plan from their second fight which made Manny look pretty meh also.
It could be the case but unless I see something more it is hard for me to call that.
War Timmeh!!! Been a fan since 2009 myself. One of the few who has stuck with him even with the Khan duck.
I really think he has a damn good chance to win this fight. Who knows where Pac's mental state is anymore, and Bradley may pull off an ugly win that he'll get credit for for no longer than two or three days before everyone says Pac was shot and Bradley is still a bum.
Yea, the card had ONE local fighter...
Shaw just doesnt do the local thing, which is about the last thing i respect arum for sometimes. Bradley needs to show out this fight. Most people think pac is gonna blow him out.
At least on here I don't get that vibe, I don't think Bradley can win and only see a few people sharing that view.
I don't think it will be a blow out because Bradley won't allow that but I just don't see that much danger for Manny. Well other than he could certainly get made to look average, which is never good for a top end guy but a guy can get made to look rather ordinery and not be in that much danger of losing.
In terms of the general public yea they certainly expect Manny to win big.
I still like the fight but I am keeping my expectation firmly rooted on the ground.
I knew it was coming, lulz. I cant wait till they finally fight. Its gonna be a war up in nsb.
Math, soo many people are shi tting on timmeh for this fight for size reasons. I dont think its gonna matter that much.
"Timmeh is a small guy, a jr ww....he is no match for Pac"
"Timmeh is a fat, non-dedicated boxer walking around at 165 when he should be near his fighting weight year round"
You can't win for losing........he will have plenty of people changing their tunes after the fight though
I heard about it several times in commercials and print but the fighters were only here for the presser, so they only went so far and basically said fuck it when they needed to pull out all the stops if they wanted to do well. Plus there wasn't much in terms of local talent, only Vernon Paris from what I saw atleast he was the only one had seen before or remembered seeing before.
He can certainly do good in and around Palm Springs, although I don't know how much he will be getting back there with Arum considering his contentious relations with the California commission.

I'm not much of a fan but I wish he has a good enough outing that people won't look at him as a bum if he happens to lose. I'm rooting for Manny to win, but won't be upset or surprised if Timmy gets the W
I'm definitely a Bradley fan. It's to common now for boxers to ake a risky iChat lose and be called a bum. What I wonder about is who fights witter in England ( whom ricky Hatton wouldn't face with a baseball bat) and comes out with a win. Then who goes on to fight Holt, Campbell, Alexander and basically cleaned out the 140 division all except Khan. Look up Khan resume and you can see Maidana who he was marathon running from to avoid in a close fight that Khan never gave a rematch too, but he cried about Peterson. I simply love boxing so every fighter has good and bad points but the lite are simply that ELITE. Will Bradley be that. I don't know but I hope he gives it his best and puts on a crowd pleasing performance. After PAC there are plenty of good fights left for the division. Ortiz, Berto, Maidana, khan, Brock, Mayweather, Alexander and many more. Let's see who steps up.
Bradley will become a much bigger name after this fight, win lose or draw. The thing is, people sleep on Tim Bradley and I think Pac is going to overlook him. Bradley is a smart guy, he will study tons of tape on Pac, have multiple strategies for offense and defense and he knows that if he is nice to Pac up until the fight, Pac will take him lightly. On fight night, Bradley will be a completely different person than the one Pac is familiar with.....he will remind Pac of Clottey though.
I say Pac has a really had time with Bradley and I'm pulling for Tim to get the upset but with the scoring the way it is, that's a tough order unless he gets a KO.

from all accounts i read the promotion in detroit for that fight was shi t. Shaw has always sucked at building local attractions and the majority of his fighters bring in shi t for gate bradley is a local in probably the biggest boxing hotbed in the us (so cal) and even if he's not mexican or armenian, he should be able to attract more than 750 paying folks or whatever the that casino.

It was just an odd choice where it was held, it got promoted but mostly by the Silverdome from my understanding, butthe fight could have done awesome and it would have looked like **** considering the Silverdome has like 90grand capacity. They got paid to bring it here for some reason though.
Bradley is unlucky in the hometown department, he can draw there and there is a casino is close but just is not that big so I can understand trying to do something else with him still there didn't seem to be any plan to turn him into a ticket seller. I think that was a major uphill battle though, so I can't fault Shaw to much.
Yea he should have beat Khan as it only could have helped him long run and Shaw would have done a one off just to be associated with a big fight, so there wasn't that much risk, and it would have been fun to see him batter Khan.

Lol! Dirk's "bradley getting props" pager went off and he had to sprint to the computer to talk shi t.....
