Don't know about the cross eyes....but dude has an enormous head for his body...
He almost looks like a real life caricature....Not clownin him...jus an observation...
truth is, whether it's ESPN/HBO/SHO, they usually never show the ring card girl's ass which is what I really want to see. Pretty faces and big tits are nice but we never get the ass view
LOL...
I guess I'm not the only one....
Cotto 2 would be the most meaningful & have the most impact if that were to be his final fight...
Personally I would love to see him fight Broner...Give "lil bro" a chance to truly have the torch passed to him....Not to mention the fact that that would prolly be the EASIEST work Floyd's had in years...
Regardless of who wins or loses; a hard fought and competitive fight will not hurt the legacy of either fighter. In addition, they'll both make a ton of money. I don't see a downside.
Agreed...
No shame in losing to a future hall of famer & alltime great...cuz that's what both these guys r...
However, Floyd's legacy will take a hit if he comes up short....A win gives him more ammunition to back up his TBE claim, a loss essentially kills all that talk...
I don't think a loss hurts Manny one bit...cuz at the end of the day he's supposed to lose...I don't even think the majority of Pac's diehards REALLY believe he'll win...but like most others they believe if there's anyone who could beat Floyd that Manny has the best chance to do it...A win only reinforces his current position as one of the top 3 fighters of his era but it won't elevate him past the likes of Leonard, Duran or Hearns...
He waited till Pacquiao got old
I troll I troll
Your theory makes tons of sense except......
If Floyd was waiting for Manny to get old, wouldn't he also be ageing in the process...smh
Of course it does and it also trumps the myth of " I offers him 40 mil and he didn't take it". Its called negotiating. Boxing fans, the public, and Floyds disappointing ppv numbers all made this fight happen
Your contradicting yourself here my friend....
In your first statement your saying that the whole idea that Mayweather & Arum had beef & wouldn't work with one another is false...
You do know what dispell means...& how could Floyd's conversation with Manny & his subsequent 40mil dollar offer be a myth....Even Manny himself admits that that conversation took place...Just because Pac didn't accept doesn't make the offer a myth...smh
Take a couple deep breaths & read the thread title more closely next time & if your ever uncertain about anymore words you may not be familiar with...Google has an excellent dictionary or you can IM me directly...I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have concerning terminology....
No...in fact it reinforces the notion...
Look at how long it took this fight to finally get made....a direct result of the animosity that exists between Mayweather & Arum....If not for the crazy amount of money at stake, & the intense public pressure this fight never happens...Does this mean we're gonna see more Top Rank-Mayweather Promotion collaborations???I highly doubt it....
have you ever entertained the thought that there are cowards who are cowards for life and cowards who got over their fears either by psyching themselves up that they are no longer afraid, or that they are cornered and have no where else to go but face their fears? but that does not meant they are not cowards before that. If "guess what I am a rich coward" is not an admission of guilt I don't know what.
Actually your post pretty much reinforces what I said.... by your own admission Mayweather seems to be one courageous mofo...
Courage: the ability and willingness to confront danger, fear, intimidation or uncertainty...
So basically your saying Floyd is brave as **** & full of courage...Thats cool that you can admit the error of your ways..
Takes a big man bro...Props...
I think so. Some pressure was applied on their side.
Reclaiming early May was a huge factor for Floyd... he got it back though.
I would tend to agree had Alvarez signed to fight Cotto...
Now that would have forced Floyd's hand for sure.... I don't think Mayweather/Khan would have been able to compete on the same date & do the kind numbers Showtime looks for...
On the other hand, fighting Kirkland basically let Mayweather off the hook...Once that was official Mayweather no longer needed Manny to hold on to his May 2nd date....He coulda signed to fight me & would still outdo a Canelo - Kirkland bout IMO....
What happened to "don't do business with arum", etc and all the other bs mayweather spit out. Why NOW is it ok and not before? Did showtime punk mayweather and tell him he needs to accept?
Exactly how does receiving the HIGHEST payday in the history of boxing equal getting punked...smh
What happened? 120 million plus dollars...thats what happened...So Floyd gets dissed & called a coward for NOT fighting Manny & now he's a hypocritical punk cuz he DOES sign to fight...
Not even a Mayweather fan but I can understand his tact....cuz you'll never be able to satisfy everybody....
Manny won the first fight...it was close but the breakdown of the individual rounds were clear...
2nd fight I scored slightly for Pac....close enough to have gone either way...
3rd fight Marquez won...the most decisive of the first 3 fights, fairly clear Marquez victory...
2 for Manny & 2 for JMM...
A PRIME Carl Froch gives GGG all he wants & then some...
Skill 4 skill I favor Froch...Carl has one of most underrated jabs in the game...very unorthodox , he can throw it at different angles & levels efficiently with power...He's taller & longer than Golovkin & I think he's as fast if not faster....Can't see a stoppage either way....
Froch boxes well enough, is durable enough, & fights well enough to get a decision over Golovkin IMO....
The whole Floyd's a coward & a ducker campaign was always strange to me...
At first I just dismissed it & chalked it up to some folks just being ignorant & uninformed...but when respected people inside boxing started to echo the same sentiments thats when things got outta hand & the level of hate & vitriol clearly indicated the presence of some nasty under tones...
Floyd is certainly not the most likeable chap in the world, & much of the negativity directed his way has been well earned...But the notion that he is a coward is just silly & unsubstantiated....
Just wondering who everyone thinks draws the least out of these 4 SMWs.
Ward sold 8,000 against the LHW champ
Smith vs Rocky Fielding will probably sell out the echo arena
Groves was the b-side for 80,000 fans wembley
Degale vs Dirrell will probably sell out the o2
I will stroke your ego for you young man....
It's gotta be Ward right...He can't draw flies to u know what...
SMH...obvious troll post...
Guerrero is legit competition for anyone at 147...
Thurman appears to have the advantage in most of the pertinent categories with the exception of experience & in fighting...
"One Time" will test Guerrero's chin early but I think he'll find it tougher to crack than some of the other lesser fighters he has faced in the past...
Fortunately for Keith I think he'll be able to outbox Robert & win a UD...
Close fight...
Neither guy is a big puncher but a stoppage is definitely possible cuz they don't have the best chins either...I think Fury is more fundamentally sound & instinctive than the crude Pulev...
The only advantage for Kubrat is that he is the stronger of the two...
Fury would out work a game Pulev & despite a valiant effort win a competitive UD...
I will chew a chicks assWhole...

That's disturbing.....
U know what kinda deviant behaviour leads to don't cha.....
Blah blah blah...
Stop it Petey...thats one of the most ridiculous excuses ever....
I thought the whole idea was u fight to feed your family...I guess Petey fights so he can spend extra time at the crib chilling watchin "Blues Clues" with his newborn....
I don't wanna hear about his problems we all got em...
OH yeah...Lee is such a big name...waaaay bigger than Korobov....yeah right...
Benitez was one of the most talented fighters of his era...
Had he been more disciplined & managed more carefully we'd be talking about him in the same breath as the big 3...
Should be an interesting fight...
Fonfora performed well against Stevenson surprising many, myself included...
Haymon has Chavez in pretty tough considering the long layoff & his less than stellar outing vs Brian Vera...Jr. really needs to get serious & concentrate on his craft if he wants the remainder of his career to be successful...
While not the MOST talented, Chavez has shown steady improvement and possesses some redeeming skills...
Oddly enough Fonfora & Chavez both have similar fighting styles & body types...The key for Julio will be focus & activity...If prepared properly with the necessary motivation Chavez is capable of competing with the best in & around his weight class, if not, he's very ordinary...
Fonfora is no push over & I suspect that he'll fight Jr. tough having his moments along the way...The move up in weight will be beneficial as well...Chavez has struggled unnecessarily trying to make 160 IMO....
We will see a much busier & possibly stronger JCC Jr....I see him winning a competitive UD...
Perhaps, as conditioning has always been one of his strong points...
Floyd just isn't an aggressive fighter, so even if he did score a few more stoppages with a 15rd limit, it still would probably only be a few at the most...
He usually gives away the last round, so yeah I don't think so.
Agreed about the last round, but 15rds is no joke...
Floyd wouldnt have any problem with the distance...He's probably one of the fittest athletes in the world regardless of sport...& while he may give away the final round there's still 13 & 14 to worry about...
Guys like Mosley, Canelo, & Maidana have trouble enough going 12rds without falling out from fatigue...The idea of three more rounds when your completely gassed isn't a good one...
These guys could have conceivably been stopped had they had to go 15...
