As he announced last night. Who do you think his opponent will be?
-Garcia-Peterson winner is out the question as they'd only have 2 months after their April 11 clash.
-Maidana is out as it's in Broner's hometown.
-I'm thinking maybe Chris Algieri.
-I don't think he'd fight Karim Mayfield.
If Broner fights another no name, then he's a straight up *****.
I am glad to see the card in Cinci though. Popular fighters need to be fighting in their hometowns. Its also a good way to build boxing.
Come on I'm tired of Broner fighting nothing but tune ups after losing to Maidana.
This is not a good sign because this shows that Haymon will not risk his big name fighters after they lose and will put them in with nothing but tune ups until they find a cheap way to win a title.
Broner is not the same fighter. He beat Molina but he looked like he was scared in the ring, once he's in a war he's going to wilt.
Whoever it is, they won't be THAT good...
Haymon and company won't have Broner lose in his own backyard
Along with what you just stated, this fight will also be on NBCSports, so that should indicate what type of opponent they will have for him.
I think it will be someone like Humberto Soto.
I don't see him fighting for a title in June, one more win and then a title shot in like November for one of Danny's vacated titles
I just saw that Broner is fighting again June 20. I think that is a good move by him. Maybe with only 3 months in between fights he will keep in good enough shape that he can go out and put on the kind of performance me and others expect from a guy with his talent.
Broner vs Cesar Cuenca - vacant IBF 140 championship
Postol vs Broner - vacant WBC 140 championship
If he wants to fight for a world title, those are the only two paths (on Showtime because NBC doesn't seem to be a platform where you can trust Broner on to deliver).
Matthysse is the mandatory for the winner of Garcia vs Postol, assuming he beats Provodnikov

I'm going to stick with my prediction even though I don't think there's enough time for it to happen on June 20.
Broner / Postol for the vacant WBC strap
