That's true, but that was his first serious endeavour at the weight as they knew Cotto wasn't going to be like Oscar. It was a different challenge to Clottey and Margarito and Mosley. Mayweather becomes a different challenge. And to a lesser extent JMM. With the right opponent he'll have that edge again. The pre-fight talk and some hard right counters from either of them will have Pac riled and wanting to kill them. He hasn't lost it. There's just been no real need for it.

You are thinking that someone who did take the drug tests and was the one who proposed them might be cheating? Floyd was more impressive against Shane because he is is more skillful than Manny and is a smarter fighter. People are saying how great Manny is and how much he has changed since back then but in reality Manny hasn't improved that much, aside from the conditioning and the weight increase. I attribute most of Manny's success to his hard work and Alex Ariza's involvement with him. Manny is a good fighter but people give him a little too much credit, honestly. I don't want to believe that, but yes he might have done if there was the two week or so gap between the final test and the fight. I think Manny's success is down to hard work and conditioning as well. But I think if the Mayweather's are right and his performances are due to PEDs and roids, then I'm trying to reconcile that fact with how someone can perform to an even higher standard and be clean. I.e. if someone needs drugs to perform like Manny, then surely someone performing better than Manny needs drugs? Again, no hate on Mayweather. I've said he beats Pac comfortably. But if Sr and Roger are right about performances like Manny needing drugs, I'm worried what they're putting into Floyd's system.

I think it's largely the opponent. If it's Mayweather that edge will be there due to the history. Also with JMM. It's clear they respect each other, but JMM's talk and t-shirt wearing gives the impression the build-up won't be all smiles and handshakes as with Mosley.

in the very beginning of the fight pac isn't doing his side-to-side or in-and-out movement. he stood right in front of mosley and didn't move his feet much. The stiffness would explain why pac didn't use his legs more and relied almost exclusively on head movements and feints. Pac knows more about his performance than you. Until Pac says that, you're chatting what you know about boxing: sh!t.

She'll be a more difficult fight than Pac. At least there's some feistiness there and they won't be holding hands all fight.
