sorry but no your blind or biased. even your british commentators for that fight and former british champs all had dirrell winning that fight. yes he ran and i dont like his fighting style either but i respect the clean blows he was landing. ward has shown he is clearly the man had no close fights so far all one sided. we will see how froch does against glen first do not look past him. thing you have to consider is this, froch is not nearly the best fighter glen has fought or beat. froch has not fought the same competitiong as glen. I have to sa the standard of posting on this forum is terrible, usually by americans it has to be said. Some obese yank earlier claimed Froch was, and i quote "embarrassingly behind Jermaine taylor on the score cards". I along withsomeone else rebuttled that quite easily. But ill do that more extensively in my "carl froch urban myths volume 2". Any the quote avove is probably an obese AA hating on froch for no reason. So lets me debunk his blatant lie. They was no punch sats from showtime, but the unbiased boxrec were live and kindly did it for us. Heres wha they found. Dirrell was deducted one point in the tenth round for excessive holding. Blows: Froch 153/475 32%; Dirrell 105/315 33%. http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1433578 So in conclusion froch landed more punches, by quite some margin, add the fact dirrell illegally held, and ducked all night, shows boxrec were correct. 2) PRESS ROW. Aside from froch rightfully winning, often the press row are good back ups to whether a fight wasa robbery or not. Guess what, they scored it to froch. 2 had froch winning and one had it a draw. 3) The pundits. The UK Showtime pundits of darren barker scored it to froch, add to that buncey and graham houston scored it to froch. But they are UK and you Obese Americans would cry about that. Tankfully jimmy iowa and dan rafael both scored it to froch, with allan green and manny stewart, also both giving froch the nod. HArdly a Robbery hey. When I see people saying Froch vs Dirrell was a robbery i have to seriously question who much they actually know about boxing and how many fights they have actually seen. It was a close fight Froch came to fight Dirrell ran b!tched hugged (did everything but fight) you don’t win world titles with that kind of performance. As TS says press row gave the fight to Froch so did the overwhelming majority of other top pundits. Dirrell doesn’t even want a rematch with Froch, in fact he has gone on record stating he wants to stay away from Froch and wouldn’t want to fight him again (something along those lines) anyway he dosnt sound to confident for a guy that supposedly won the fight. post of the week, and post of the thread.:boxing:

Dirrell got robbed. Froch was ineffective. At the end of the day they gave it to the hometown guy. As a Froch fan you should stay quiet about this decision instead of trying to defend it LOL.

Dirrell could have performed a lot better, regardless...he clearly beat Froch. I think both have improved since then, I'd like a rematch.

Dirrell won the last 2 rounds quite clearly but other then that i might have given him a round or 2. He spent the whole fight refusing to engage, running, holding and throwing himself to the floor. It was a terrible fight but remember thinking at the end that Froch just about did enough. I even remember a couple of the other guys in the tournament (think it was Kessler and Abraham) saying that they thought Froch just about did enough. It seems only the Americans think Dirrell won.

In two years I have not heard a single argument about Froch winning because of anything he actually did that was anywhere in the realm of legitimate, it is always about what Dirrell did. That there says it all. The game is about being punched effective more so than the other guy, a style merely plays into that and is no way a determining factor for who should win. OK a guy might fight in a way you dislike but who landed the better blows~
