BoxRec a reliable source?

Since when boxrec .com had become a reliable source of fights that are gonna be made? How long have you know about boxrec website??? that site has been up a long time ago and most know that website is not a reliable source of fights that not yet signed. jezzzz :dunce: Bumping this one. Uh, that's why the thread says unofficial and not signed. There are about 4 threads stating the same and some as if it was official plus some post threads of fights being official when they aren't. My point is to instruct to the misinformed that's all.

I get all my boxing information from there and also the threads made on here.

Sometimes they can be like me and get a lil premature with there ejactulation when they schedule fights, and also like me it dont make consumer of this premature ejactulation very happy.............

Sometimes they get it right. Sometimes they get it wrong. But for the most part in my experiance with them they are pretty spot on. I totally agree, Ive been checking out Boxrec for years now, and for the most part they have been pretty solid, although they have been off a bit in the opast as well......

who runs boxrec? a staff like boxingscene?

I use boxrec generally for just checking out prospects in their records,if it has comments on any fights,stats like height and reach and when their fighting next.When it comes to the big names i dont believe it til i see it on boxingscene or *********

Doesn't mean anything at all until a fight contract is signed and sealed.

They put fights up before they are signed, but they usually have a reliable source that tells them about it. They don't just make up fights and put them on the site.

Sometimes they get it right. Sometimes they get it wrong. But for the most part in my experiance with them they are pretty spot on. The only thing they do is when a rumor of a fight is around the put it up like if it is official, they have always done that. And of what i can see some in NSB think is real.
