lol..in case y'all didnt know naz has more punch power,better defense and many more punches in his arsenal than manny does. He also loves a fighter who comes forward. So whats the defenseless come-forward manny got that's gonna ensure he beats naz???

and those that say naz has a suspect chin...did you watch the barerra fight?he got caught with brilliant punches from barerra but still stayed standing.
And since when did pac throw amazing punches from different angles as one of you said?all he has is a good one-two as we saw in the marquez fight.
Naz loves fighters who come forward,thats why going into the barerra fight he was the favourite,what put him off waas that barerra didnt come forward.
Pac is tailor-made for naz,an open fighter that steams forward. Naz would land easily and take the pac-man out no doubt within a few rounds,maybe gettin knocked down once or twice himself in the process.

the fact of the matter is the pacman has no defence and comes steaming forward..that is what naz wants a fighter to do..a prime naz is faster,stronger,has a better array of punching and a better defense than pac-man. He has also got a better chin(from looking at both fighter's past fights).
If jmm tried to slug with naz like he did in the 1st few rounds with pac-man, jmm wouldnt have gotten up like he did against pac-man.
Morales would probably beat naseem on a points decision.
i dont think its really genetics,i think its jus to do with whther you're born with it or not.some ppl jus have a natural talent at certain things,doesnt necessarily have to come from genes.
You have to have that talent in boxing to be a real champ,couple the talent with training and only then can you get a world champ.
A good examle of natural talent- a boxing trainer was once walking past a school where he saw a small skinny kid fighting a much bigger boy,the skinny kid was too fast for the bigger boy and showed excellent reflexes for a 6 yr old. The trainer spoke to the skinny kids parents and got this 6 yr old to come to the gym. This trainer was bren ingle and the child....Naseem Hamed.
i think Naz,he decided to fight the superstars too late in his career..had he had the likes of morales and barerra when he was three years younger he would have blown them away.
The info they got was from a recent interview with him,discussing amir khans success. He mentioned he still wants to return and will be back in early 2005..with regards to naz's boxing skills,he had the most amazing power and reflexes ive ever seen. However,he became old quick and started losing those reflexes that he heavily relied on. Ingle saw this and decided to cash out on naz before his loss which ingle his trainer for 20 yrs saw coming. He wrote a book where he mentioned personal things about naz. Naz fired him and got a new trainer which just made things worse for him.
The naz that fought barerra was only a shadow of the younger naz. If you wanna see what naz was really like watch his earlier career.
Those who think naz wouldnt beat scott harrison,wake up! look at what he did to the young medina and look what the old medina did to scott. Scott has good power but thats all.
I like witter and think he has the style to beat hatton,but he needs to stop going on about ahatton and blaze his own trail to glory. He neeeds to fight ppl within the top 15 now to get recognition.

quite the contrary i think hattons made for witter, witter has good reflexes and a good defence.He is an excellent counterpuncher. Hatton has absolutley no defence and cuts up easily...magee counterpunched hatton brilliantly in the first half of their fight. Witter is faster and stronger than magee and also has a better defense.
I say witter catches hatton on the way in with his bombs,then quickly moves out of the way. He keeps doing this until he ko's hatton. As witter showed against battaglia,if you come towards him with a weak defence witter will knock you out.
lewis was rocked a few times by klit,but lewis by far was landing the better punches,klit was landing MORE but lewis was landing the better meaningful shots,it was quantity vs quality. Klit needed over 50 stitches to repair the damage caused by lewis,had he wanted to win he should have gotten the f*ck out of the way of lewis's bombs.
Watch the fight again and take notice on who was landing the better shots and you'll see how Lewis cut vit up and won.
Same here, when i watch roy in his prime it just makes me wonder how these haters cant see the amazing speed and reflexes he has. There has been no-one who has come close to his speed in our era.
Secondly I see the same ppl on here always discrediting the big fighter's records.
RJJ fought nobody, DLH fought fighters who were past their prime..hopkins fought blown up welterweights blah blah blah..it really makes me wonder how boxing lovers can not appreciate such fighters.
he looks a good boxer but seems to get real lazy in the ring,i think he can beat sprott skelton and williams,thats if he does what hes meant to do and start upping his class
I am glad you do not write articles. If you are looking at the Mesi fight in comparison, it is then easy to not be pleased and criticise, you were probably then thinking that a knockout was a must for Wladimir. But, if you realise that Williamson went into the Mesi fight with the wrong strategy, and went into Wladimir's fight with the right strategy of staying away and moving, then you realise that the Mesi fight is not a good judge of Williamson. Wladimir fought a good opponent today. Williamson is a top 15 fighter, and he has a big punch. He is tall and moves quickly for his size. Williamson is better than Brewster. Toney should fight Williamson next. Let us see how Toney fairs against Williamson. Wladimir showed great heart today, coming back very quickly against a top 15 fighter. Wladimir was not even his best, and yet still won against a top 15 fighter with a big punch. It should have been a unanimous decision. Wladimir showed great stamina too.

shamz its quite ironic what you said bout ali and naz,you enjoyed naz's first knockdown cos he has a big mouth. Naz had a very similar bravado to ali,both bigmouths,also you found it amazing how ali would say which round he'd knock the opponent out in and then would do it,you'll find that naz did that too ;)

i think tarver shouldnt have been above morales,tarver won with a one punch k.o in the second round not a 12 round domination,pac-man is also a tad high,with only one huge win and a draw with jmm.

poor howard eastman,robbed again...what has he done to lose his no1 spot?(he was wbc no1 wasnt he?)...he is more deserving at a shot at hopkins than sturm n felix are.
If danny comes with the right mind-set and comes in at a weight where he is light enough to be able to move around the ring quickly and big enough to be able to tie up vitali when needed then hes got a chance. It's not hard to catch vitali, but the way to beat him is when you hit vitali make the punch count and then quickly tie him up before he can land his bomb. Williams strategy should be to make vit miss and tire him out n only go for single power punches then move out of range. This will mean that williams will lose the first 5 odd rounds as he wont have thrown as much as vitali (only the occasional power punch) but atleast by then he will have cut vits fragile skin up and will have tired him out. After that he can put the combos together and take vit outta there.
Having said that, Vit has a huge height advantage so its easier said than done.
i cant believe no1 noticed the low blows from diaz, look at how low morales shorts were from round 8 onwards and look at how low diaz's blows were...Can someone plz check and confirm it as i cant elieve i was the only one who noticed all those low blows
