Was Morales Robbed?

morales landed more punches he threw less meanin he was much much more accurate so his punches were cleaner shots he stunned or got diaz attention on several occasions that alone should be enough to get him the win not to mention that the fighters faces told the story of who was landing more and better shots but whats most diaz fan argument he was the champ ya gotta take the title to most he did now the final blow to show why morales won the KD the reason i think they gave it to diaz or the reason that theyll try to use cuz morales really looked more tired whi is true he did seem more tired after the fight and in between rounds but during the rounds ya couldnt really tell he still moved around well and land and threw better punches diaz may ohave thrown more but to me they were just flaylying shots a last ditch effort to show that he wasnt done and it worked he made the judges feel he was in control but everytime morales would hit him with somethin nice hed flail away and throw alot of meaningless punches so i see what theyll try to say bottom line morales landed more and got the KD busted up diaz face its clear he was only leaven a 4 division champ if hed KOd diaz

I can't believe you people are still whining about your "Hero" losing this fight. You see the fight the way you want to see it. It doesn't go the way you predicted so you say "he was robbed". You know what the best part of the evening was? Seeing the look on the faces of the Morales "worshipers" around me (who actually booed during the U.S. national anthem) when the unanimous decision was read. Especially the guy with the Tshirt that read "They can't deport us all". Wanna bet? I'll be honest I'm a fan of Morales and I wanted him to win, but did you see the fight? IMO Morales won rounds 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 ,10 with round 11 going either way. Now a lot of those rounds were close, but look at Diaz's face and compare it to Morales. Diaz had a huge swelling around his right eye, while Morales face was still clean. Now I'm willing to admit that Morales didn't deserve that 4th title if he didn't do enough to win, but he obviously did, and that's why I felt and many people felt that Morales was robbed.

i cant believe no1 noticed the low blows from diaz, look at how low morales shorts were from round 8 onwards and look at how low diaz's blows were...Can someone plz check and confirm it as i cant elieve i was the only one who noticed all those low blows

I'm not saying it was or wasn't a robbery but I see a lot of newbies posting that it was definitely a robbery. I wonder how many people screaming ROBBERY! actually saw the fight in good quality?

It sounds like alot of you think it was a robbery but it also sounds like some of you are saying it was a robbery even though you think it was a close fight. There's no way it couldve went to Diaz? ill put it like this, if diaz won close, then de la hoya should've won wide vs floyd....diaz's was ineffective aggression at its clearest...

Well normally I say any fight where I score 7 rounds to one guy can't be a robbery if it goes the other way; however, I thought Morales clearly won at least 5-6 rounds. Diaz clearly won 2 or 3 and many were damn close. What I don't understand is how all the judges can give Diaz every close round, especially when Morales outlanded him most of the rounds and landed the cleaner, more accurate punches. It was close though so robbery is a tough word to use.

I think Diaz won...! He's the Champ.. close fight goes to tha Champ... Morales has been in this Bizz a long time he should know... You either Knock the guy out or you beat the guy convincely for most of the fight!!! Is Diaz's back yard! Morales eres un grandisimo pendeho!

I wonder if the judges should be at ring side why can't they be somewhere else watching it on a monitor away from the crowd, you could infact judge the fight anywhere in the world and nobody should no who the judges are until the first bell i think this would stop the fucking cheats, have i just come up with the best idea ever

I mean sometimes it's hard to tell who's landing and who isn't the first time you watch something (which is all the judges have), but when one guy clearly wins 5-6 rounds and the other guy struggles to clearly win any, there's something wrong with giving him every close round.

It's about time their was an appeals panel for this kind of thing, since boxing began there has been this prob and nobody wants to do anything about it as next week everyone has forgot about it as their is another dodgy decision. bastard judges, ex boxers should be doing it they still can be bought but at least they now about boxing unlike these fuckers.

I believe he was robbed after sitting down and scoring it. The judges awarded every close round to Diaz and pretty much gave Morales the rounds he clearly won (like 3, 4, 5 and 9). Here is my card. looking at the scorecards those judges should be sacked on the spot, absolutly sickening As usual the judges don't have to answer to anyone, but they should. If this fight had of been in Vegas, different story.
