Can Anyone Help Me On This Subject, It Says On Boxrec.com That Audley Harrison Is Rated 11th In The World ?? Is This Correct, I Know All The Belts Have Their Own Orders But Can Audley Be Put Beside The Top Ten When He Hasnt Prooved Himself To Be Placed There.
Am I Missing Somethin Or Is There Only 10 Fighters Better Than Him In The Heavyweights.
Opinions On Audley Please...... My Own Opinion Is That He (apart From Being Rediculously Boaring) Is Stalling His Career, Apparently To Make Sure Boxers Get A Fair Deal, This Seems Like Bull Shit To Me, One Fighter Cant Do This, Is He Just Dodging Any Big Fights In Case He Looses ???? Or Does No One Want To Fight Him ???
he looks a good boxer but seems to get real lazy in the ring,i think he can beat sprott skelton and williams, thats if he does what hes meant to do and start upping his class
I think he will beat Sprott and i think he will beat Skelton but i think Danny will be his nemesis is they ever meet. Audley has bad mouthed Danny alot and i think Danny will do everything in his power to make sure he never loses that fight.

It is a very weak division. What happened to all the intimidating fighters out there? I find it very hard to take most heavyweights seriously these days to be honest. People insult James Toney but at least he brings excitement to this boring tiresome division. I know the odds are against Danny this December but i really hope he beats Vitali so much. It's just what the heavyweight division needs to shake things up. If none of the champions are going to unify the titles then we need someone to knock them off there pedestals. As for Wladimir i have no idea where to rate him, although by the time Audley comes close to fighting someone like him he may have lost 6 fights by then. :D
I think by this time next year he should have at least fought a Michael Grant or a Oleg Maskaev. Top 15 can sound very elite but then when you look at the fighters you think, hmmmmm it isn't that elite after all. :)
I'd say by this time next year he should have fought at least 3 names, remember also he's getting older and won't improve alot, but hopefully in that time limit we will know how he's shaping up
well then do we all at least agree to give him this next year to proove himself he needs to be fighting a top 15 fighter within the nest 9 month at least for him to get any credibility
anyone agree
He hardly gets hurt because he's fighting bums, If he beats a top 15 fighter well i'll put my hands up and say fair play, but i truly belive he can't, yes he has some skills, but won't be able to box with authority with men who will walk through his shots, and defensively he is weak also, of course being a southpaw helps but his defence is that bad i don't think it'll make much difference, he should be feasting on men like Monte Barret, Joe Mesi, TOS, Jirov, these are fighters who we know the limits of and if Audrey is going to go further up the rankings (or in my eyes break them) then he needs to be fighting these typse of fighters now, but he's too trashed to mix it with the top 5 british heavys never mind the world!!!
Audley Harrisons chin will be the big test to how far he will go in my opinion. I have this awful feeling that his chin won't be up to much but i truely hope i'm wrong. He isn't anything exceptional but he does seen to have power and basic boxing skills. I just think he needs more time to fully improve although he isn't exactly a spring-chicken so he cannot hang around at domestic level for too long. I think Danny Williams is by far the better fighter at the moment between the two but that could soon change if Audley gets bigger experience under his belt.
good point i understand where you are coming from, however the fact you say harrison has no power, he may not but he controls the fights and hardly gets hurt, his southpaw advantage can not be brushed aside as every fight i have seen him have the other fighters struggle to break him down
i dont think he could k.o many if any top ten fighter but i do really think he will give them a lot of problems in beating him, he may be able to win on points
He Might Be Rated 4th In The Uk, However I Personally Think He Is Better Than Anyone Else We Have
Danny Williams Is A Joke... Hopefully Vk Will Proove That
Over 12 Rounds Harrison Would Ko Williams !! Simple As That
Have you been smoking mann!
Take the Tyson 'win' aside Williams is still better than audrey he's really poor, his best asset is that he's a southpaw and big!!!
Very little power, very weak inside fighter, and little fighting spirit, as soon as he faces a top 15 fighter i think he gets beat, and yes williams will get KO'd by big Klit, but at least we know Williams limitations ( a average domestic level fighter) Harrison hasn't even proven himself at that level yet!!!
i would love to see a british champion however i also think that VK is the only decent heavyweight out there, well decent enough to be called the champion, if danny williams beats him then i think it would make a bit of a joke of the heavyweight division, there are at least 10 heavyweights better than williams
what i mean is that if williams beats vk, then i wont be assured that the WBC champion is a top class boxer, like VK is

I think Harrison is 5th in the UK rankings. Williams, Skelton, Hide and Sprott are all higher than Harrison.
I'd bet on all but Sprott to beat Harrison inside the distance.
Why do you want Klitchko to beat Williams?? I hope Williams whips him!!

Well, They Seem To Make A Bit More Sense Of The Sittuation, I Wouldnt Put Him In My Top Twenty, He Needs To Proove Himself Against A Decent Opponent Maybe Somone Like Rahman, He Needs To Be Facing People Like That Within The Next Year, He Also Needs About 4 Fights In My Opinion
However This Wont Happen And In September Next Year He Will Be Saying That 2006 Will Be His Year, Just Like He Has Said About 2005 This Year.... However He Did Say In 2003 That 2004 Would Be His Year
I Just Think That He Is His Own Spin Doctor, Not Realisin That Even If He Eeps Hypin Himself Up, No One Will Take Him Seriously If He Doesnt Walk The Walk Aswell

I'm not sure if Boxrec rankings are genuine!? they go on a points system.
Audley is top 30 possibly top 20, he has talent but the UK alone has at least 4 heavys who are considered better than Harrison.
