A jew from the burbs somewhere in California telling a former gang member, current rap icon, he's a sellout and he turned his back on the hood. You can't make this **** up.
You make it seem like if you're a Garcia fan then you automatically have to be a broner fan ... Wrong. I'm a fan of Garcia because of what he showed me he had in terms of skill prior to and after the mathysse fight ... Broner never liked him as a person and was reserving judgment based off skills ... That aside Danny fouling mathysse and maidana taking a banned substance (allegedly) are two different things altogether.
Lucas would've stopped him... And believe me some people on this site know what I thought of the Lucas hype in its heyday .. I dont think broner is straight trash but honestly ... Bradley, Garcia, Thurman, Pacquiao, Mathysse, ... **** even Khan... Which one of those guys is he honestly beating ?
8-4,7-5, Broner. I'm would've been the first one screaming robbery if I thought there was even a case to be made for paulie but I thought Broner won 7 clear rounds.
You're not going to get an honest answer here. People are blinded by their hate. Regardless of the outcome of their first fight if he beats PAC I'd have trouble placing anyone behind Mayweather and Ward not named Bradley.
It was against another Yank you spastic :lol1:
So that makes it ok ? Maybe the point is ward doesnt want to go because the judges in the uk don't know how to score ...
It was a 3 round fight in Prizefighter. It wasn't exactly the most outrageous decision ever.
Americans will cling onto any little thing and forget that their country has produced some of the most disgusting decisions over the past few years.
Also produced just about everything worth remembering .. :boxing:
Yeah I did notice he was looking better...i would guess its new meds
Same thoughts here ... Has to be some new meds either way good for him though ... The way he was looking in the Margo or even Mosley fights I would've assumed he'd be I'm much worse shape then he is right now ... And as a matter of fact he actually looks better off... Very weird
It's better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all. He could've held the belt for a few months, warmed it up and had Danny snatch it from him like the last piece of iguana meat at an Argentine BBQ ... But instead he gets to be in the blue corner for the rest of his career.
They are tested year round unlike yours :bottle:
But do they test for drugs that make them worse ? They could be doping to keep themselves mediocre so that 'one direction' and Russel Brand can remin your major export.
Manny looked better than he did in years in the 4th Marquez fight when he stopped listening to Ariza. Yeah he got KO'd but that has nothing to do with conditioning, Ariza is one of the most overrated people in boxing period.
What ??? Lol your ability to take a shot and stay on your fight might have a little to do with conditioning ... Smh.
The highest he can go is 154 ... He's wayyyy too top heavy. He probably gets the **** kicked out of him @54 right now against most guys just because they are bigger and can outwork him. Doesn't look good for him. I see more Naseem Hamed in him than I do Mayweather.. He won't be around long.
Manny better stock up on cigarettes now while he can ... Never know if he has to go back into his old business selling Paul Mall's and Newports in the street.
No, it isn't. The trainer and promoter don't get their cut from the guaranteed purse.
Really ? So where do they get it from ? If a promoter is owed say %15 of a fighters purse and a trainer is owed say %10 what number are they putting a percentage on in order to get their share ? If Manny's "guarantee" is 25 .. How much did roach and arum make off of him ?
There have been rumors circulating of him being in a bad spot financially since 2010 probably not a coincidence that this is around the time he allegedly didn't pay his taxes ... The timelines certainly match up. If I had to guess I'd say yea. Rich people broke.. Not BROKE,broke.
Where did you get the info that Pac borrowed from Arum? or are you just talking out of your ****?
According to reports Pac paid the Bureau of Internal Revenue:
2008: 125 million Pesos($3Mill) which made him the top taxpayer in that year.
2009: P7 million ($175 k)
2010: P9.1 million ($225 k)
Now, do you really believe that he has only 25K in his bank accounts?
The issue here is that the BIR is going after Pac because of Pacquiao’s accountant failure to report in his income tax returns (ITR) the multi-million-dollar taxes collected by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from his winnings for the years of 2008 to 2009.
Pac is hiding his money somewhere and even the banks in the PI are not disclosing his accounts to the PI government for investigation.
Let's talk after the investigation is over and lets see if Pac really is broke or still a multi-millionaire at the end of the day.
From Arum himself ? ... He has said that he's had to wire millions of dollars to casinos to pay off pacquiaos gambling debts .... Which then had to be deducted from future purses. You wouldn't ask for a loan to pay off gambling debts if you weren't in trouble financially.
comparing your 15,000 a year tax doesnt compare to an international sports ,politician, movie star, etc etc, with many sponsors...cmon man be real.
Lebron isn't havin those problems , nor is Kobe , Peyton manning ... I can go on and on. My situation my not be similar to pacs but there's is ... Seems like they have no problem keeping their finances in order
1) nobody heres a lawyer nor politician, hence, doesnt know how these operations work
2) koncz & his team probably have all the paper work ready, theres prob just gathering everything, otherwise whats the fkn point of knocz?.. so we dont know sht, stop gossiping girly
lay off the meth huey, its makin you say some wild dum sht. including you thinking that rios was gna ko pac. lmao. SAY NO TO DRUGS HUEY, JUST SAY NO
3 years seems like a long time to be "gathering" everything... If someone asked me to show proof of my taxes paid in 09-10, I have a thing that's called a filing cabinet and inside of it I have these things called folders and inside those folders ..... Wait for it... Proof that my taxes were paid
Seemed like they were arguing the same point.. Or had two opposing views switched and then switched again to be on the same page. Max started by saying "Hamer quit because he did it before and compromised his integrity enough to where if it got tough he could do it again" .. Roy was arguing "Hamer wobbled back to his corner" in other words he was hurt ... Max then brought up the Mago thing "maybe he saw what happened to Mago and thought that could happen to him". Roy then jumped in and reiterated everything Max said to begin with " he's not in the ring thinking about what happened to someone else... He quit because he quit the last time he was out" ... Which is what Roy was arguing against to begin with. :wtf1:
Right around the time fans started campaigning for the fighters making business choices and battling each other about which fighter makes the most money. And who sells more ppv and where the (next) ppv star will come from and why it's ok to duck because said fighter poses too much risk but not enough reward.
Knocked it out if the park !!! Same goes for most forms of media/entertainment.. Movies, music (rap especially), news , etc ...
It's funny how the argument that Rigo isn't popular enough or fan friendly or doesn't have a built in fan base pops up on this board multiple times a week. Hbo makes comments at least twice a month about this guy since he beat Donaire. Sure , the numbers don't lie not many people are watching. But Rigo sure as **** has people talking... He's become popular for being unpopular ! Hbo sucks for that and makes this sport look like a sideshow they should stand behind him. He's one of the great ones ! No one in the nba apologizes for Tim Duncan's style of play. They realize for every Jordan there has to be a Duncan or Nowitzki (spelling). It makes the game better. I hope more than anyone rigo goes to Showtime/GBP where I feel he would be more appreciated... And spare me the business talk from all you fake marketing wiz's I'm a fan of the science and rigondeaux's one of the best to ever do it ... PERIOD...
What's with these threads lately? You do realize Pacquiao is coming off a fight where he just got ktfo? This is what a tuneup fight, is a guy who can sell the fight like Rios, but at the same time a guy we all know that Pacquiao should beat. Rios was basically a middleweight fight night against Alvarado I highly doubt Manny is the bigger guy here.
I don't think tune ups should cost the fans $60 ... Of course you'll turn around and say "it's a business and if they're willing to pay so be it" .. But it still takes away from the sport as a whole.
