I have Paulie winning close to every round keep in mind body punches do count in the sport of Boxing
Body punches that hit the body count, body punches that hit the elbow/shoulder e.g Broners guard dont count. now every1 re watch the fight.
exactly lol.
"Paulie landed 1000 pitty pats on Broners elbow! HE outworked him!"
Had it 8-4 Broner the first time watching. Loved Paulie's activity but I don't score shots landed on the elbows and arms. Not to say he didn't land his fair share but a lot of those were blocked
Malignaggi was treating broner like a punching bag lol. If only malignaggi had a little power. Jesus just imagine what pac would do to broner.
 Pac would destroy Broner
Recently watched this fight. Was really impressed with Malignaggi's heart and boxing skills man and his bodyshots were right on the button when he saw he couldn't get upstairs effectively. Fought like a true champ much respect.
Was impressed with Broner as well, would like to see him in with some stiffer comp before I can say he's amongst the elite, but has serious potential.
As far as the fight, I didn't feel Broner did enough to take the title, but the judges favored his clean potshots over paulies combinations to the body. Against a real killer, he could find himself in no man's land.
Good observation.
Pauli was definitely landing consistenty to the body and Broner wasn't doing much to adjust to stop that from happening.
He avoided a lot to the head but he also took a fair few.
A really unimpressive performance all round for Broner IMO.

paulie landed at will and clearly won the first 6 not even being a hater so now that its broner pitty pattys dont count but when mayweather wins all his fights in that fashion its ok ill make sure to judge his next fight on the ammount of power punches only and not count his slaps25%= landing at will lol, dont even know why i reply to you dumb californians
broner won 115-113
dont get caught up with your hate for broner, and pauli's competitiveness,, Broner lost some early rounds, but clearly landed the harder shots as the fight went on, pauli showed great will power, but broner landed cleaner and did more damage,, Good fight, but broner won it

U got to love words like probably:bottle: the facts remain broner dominated but because people don't like him (me included) so they're looking for things to hate on him for. He allowed Paulie and Rees to hit him because he was not worried about their power but people on nsb used these examples to think he's not good but they are going to keep getting their feelings hurt victory after victory . The funny thing is he was more concerned about showboating for Floyd than Paulie's power.
The word probably is used in this case because it is the probable cause behind the mistakes the punch stat operators made that night. It happens quite a lot with faster fighters - when a fighter is fast, the operator often misses punches landed and even thrown - this is know to happen in training and an operator can become qualified without 100% accuracy.
In a live fight situation the operators are subject to error and the margin of error can vary quite drastically. There are many fights where the punch stats just don't match up with the real numbers when the fight is played back and the stats re-recorded in slow motion. But the punch stats quoted immediately after a fight are from live operators, human errors are bound to occur given the precarious nature of the punch stat system.
Broner was nowhere as successful as the punch stats indicate and the truth is the punch stats were very close anyway but they are known for being inaccurate, especially with faster fighters.
Paulie was tripling up on his fast jab at many points in that fight, the operator probably missed half of his punches. The other operator probably recorded many of Broner's punches that missed as punches that landed..

According to compubox, Tony Thompson outlanded Wladimir Klitschko by 29 punches.
Just keep that in mind before ever citing/referencing compubox as a credible source.
