Mayweather not relying on his skills and solely his skills makes him a ***** in my eyes. Dude wants to control every aspect of the fight. Don't hit me with that A side B side bullsh*t either. The fighters should have ZERO say in matters such as what gloves the other party is allowed to use. One of boxings many problems.
When you factor in ring entrances, dudes personality and how he would dispatch of opponents and then talk as much **** as he did. He was Floyd of the 90's but not as known. He's also the reason I even got into boxing in the first place. Friend of mine asked to put the fight on at my house, told me to pay attention. I did and was hooked ever since.
Dude I ****ing LOVE Provodnikov but my father commented "I wonder how many smaller versions there are of her inside of herself" and I tweeted it and then my dude on Twitter made this. Relax.
Kidding me? Of course Holyfield would've given his purse up to a charity after his fights with Lewis, Bowe and Tyson. Who cares if he had 10+ kids to feed.
Of course Foreman and Leonard and Oscar would've done so against Frazier, Duran and Trinidad. Who wouldn't?
Sorry but Mayweather hasn't fought ANYTHING close to a Lewis, Bowe or Tyson.
So let's not make it seem like Floyd traveled a rough road to his millions.
THats joke right? You are questioning Tim Bradley's stamina?
No man. Wasn't questioning or doubting it. Was a genuine inquiry.
I've fell out of the loop.
I used to watch every fight to air on TV.
Haven't had as much time to catch all of them.
Traveling a lot for work ruined that ability for me. :(
Yeah him and another one of the fighters in the gym are training for an upcoming tournament in Spokane and then might be heading to Colorado. They're junior Olympic fighters I believe. Not 100% sure. I'll get their names and post their Boxrec info later.
I see a trend in the thread:
In any order:
Lara, Pacquiao, Bradley. I really believe he loses to the three. Bradley fight would be 50/50 depending on how smart Bradley fights.
Lara would be all oh so wrong for Floyd, stylistically.
Pacquiao would be more competitive due to styles. But Pac's activity would be enough for a UD win.
Wrong stylistically in he would be able to get to Floyd or Floyd wouldn't be able to get to him? I'm not very familiar with Lara. I've been slacking on keeping up with fighters recently. Don't judge me. :(
Last 4 fights that I'd like to see are;
Maidana
Garcia
Bradley
Thurman
A lot might have changed by this time next year so that fourth option could change.
And it looks like it's going to be Khan next anyway so that list is unlikely to happen.
In that specific order or those four in any order?
I've not seen Porter for the moment, but Thurman has showed some worrying vulnerabilities against Chaves and Soto Karass. Both rocked him in the first rounds. He showed heart against adversity and proved he can adjust, but I'm not sure what will happen when his level of competition goes up.
Exactly. Thurman always looks like he is open to be hit and I don't like it.
Manny is a much better fighter than bradley
Bradley's only chance is if mayweather gets old overnight, and he outworks him
Manny has the power to hurt floyd, plus is a much better boxer all-around
If manny stays on his bike like he did in the latter stages of the rios fight, he is gonna be a tough out since his handspeed and footwork are so superb
Plus manny has one shot power vs guys floyd's size and smaller,, Manny has been fighting big durable guys that is why his ko power seems to have left,,, I dont think he is as explosive as he was 5 years ago, but still super fast, and his soutpaw stance will cause mayweather trouble
For the amount of output Bradley would have to do to keep Mayweather engaged and hopefully be scoring on dude, would he gas? How is Bradley's stamina? Has that been put to the test by anyone?
1. GGG
2. Sergio Martinez
3. Andre Ward
4. Adonis Stevenson
Mayweather needs to stop ducking these live opponents. C'MON FRAUD GAYWEATHER!!
Come on man.
No trolling please.
No biased BS just legit box talk.
And be REALISTIC while you're at it.
