What does he do? Come out like a bull in a china shop? Make the mistake of attempting to open up by boxing with Floyd first before failing and then tire slugging it out? I just hope he picks up with the same intensity and isn't apprehensive in anyway in his approach. Don't for one second let Floyd think he has him figured out. He needs to improvise his offense completely and fall into no rhythms or patterns. Floyd is a master tactician and fights based on conditioning fighters to respond to his feints and then doing the opposite and completely improvising his own offense. We will see. I'm excited.

I'm a huge Cotto fan, but I don't think the public would be interested in this one all that much. Even though Cotto was his toughest fight so far. With Mayweather coming to the end of his contract. They will want to see Mayweather in their with new threats.

Playing devil's advocate here of course. Obviously the purse would be different in the time period involving these fighters. But would an Ali have taken a similar offer from a George Foreman if he were said to be "ducking" him or would Leonard have accepted the same from Duran?

In my thread I created for ranking credible threats people would like to see Floyd face GGG keeps coming up as a choice but people immediately dismiss it as a fight Floyd would never take due to the legitimate risk involved. How would Floyd deal with a GGG attempting to walk him down all night? Cotto as able to get to Floyd with some level of success. Would GGG be able to do the same amount and potentially worse damage than Cotto did?

My nephew recently started training in a local boxing gym. I've been there every day with him just to take it all in and I am on the verge of signing up myself. But I was watching one of the better more known/successful fighters in the gym shadow boxing in the mirror with himself and he was jabbing way higher than his own head. Was he simulating fighting a taller opponent or are jabs generally thrown angled upwards and I just haven't been paying attention my whole life? I thought you were supposed to SNAP the jab? He looked like he was pushing up. Please advise...

There's a never ending discussion about Floyd cherry picking his opponents claiming he always takes the easiest fights. I don't necessarily agree or disagree with one side over the other. But please do me a favor and list the four people you would most like to see Floyd fight in order of their threat level to Floyd. Which four fighters should be on Floyd's radar to end his six fight contract with Showtime. No trolls or dumb **** please. Serious discussion only. :boxing:

...to the point where I no longer watch Friday Night Fights and only the bigger fights on HBO or Showtime when I have the time. I came on here yesterday and based on some of the posts I saw about Golovkin I made it a point to download his fight from this past weekend and what the ****? Are there any other fighters out there like him with a decent amount of footage I can watch? I love fighters like him. He can throw a bomb from anywhere in any position. He broke that mother****ers ribs. LMFAO. Golovkin honestly is the prototypical fighter. Can you imagine him fighting someone just like himself? It would be the greatest fight of all time. :hitit:

How does Mayweather hold up against this type of artillery at a sustained rate if it can be managed? This is literally my only worry for Floyd in this fight. We all know Floyd can last. He has super human stamina. But Mr. Canelo has combos and they look like they get thrown from a very angry place. :ugh: Not trolling. Not flaming. Just genuinely curious. I've never seen anyone really put Mayweather in a spot and just unload on him and land meaningful shots. Will his body hold up?
