As much as people hate on the Klitschko's we don't need tools like this guy in our sport.
Taken from Wikipedia....
"Hari, who was generally known for his big mouth and slow ring entrance started some trash talk between them before the fight, making the hype even greater. Hari's long ring entrance took longer than the actual fight, where Hari was knocked out by Leko's trademark spinning back kick."
Actually, scratch that, I'd quite like to see Wlad knock out this guy! lol
It's as legit a fight as Mayweather - Hatton was, tis exactly the same, asking the unbeaten champ at Jr. Welter to step up to welter to fight the champ there.
But then again did people give Floyd much credit for that win, was Hatton simply a "bum" or was it all Cortez's fault?
If Pacquiao doesn't get thrown off by Mayweather's mind games and doesn't get drawn into Mayweather's fight then he can do something that no one else has managed.
This quote is taken somewhat out of context, but I still find it funny anyway....
Don Charles-- "I’m not a nutter. He asked me to take his head gear off and I physically attacked him"
Er ok Don.

Daily mail lol..... Mmmmmmm.. Will b surprised if true
Saw this in the other thead about this. People always jump to these responses, but imo the Daily Mail's boxing coverage is actually quite good.
Chisora is an idiot, but are Haye's single shots going to be enough to keep him at bay?
It's hard to deal with a character like Fury tbh, he's borderline crazy!
How long is Ringside, I've never seen it as I don't have the Sky tv. But may check it out just for Fury and the utter lolfest that he'll be talking
Martinez is around the same size as Margarito so, it's not a ridiculous fight. But as Cotto is by far the bigger pull, surely they'd make Sergio come down a few pounds?
If he's over, then he'll barely be over, but not for want of trying.
The people saying about how Oscar will pay his fines are deluded, if that is the case then why didn't Oscar just pay the fines for his fight against Pac and not come in like a zombie?
"The all black Floyd Mayweather appreciation party"
Totally not racist there...although I did see a white person at it...not sure how she slipped through.. :S
This was totally tragic, a party so that a multimillionaire, undefeated boxer can gain recognition from his hangers on....Can you imagine Wlad going this? Although I suppose the only people that would turn up are him, Hayden, Vitali and probably that Weltzschermz poster on here! lol
I did particularly enjoy the bit where Floyd motions to his security guard, "Hey, where you goin'? You want me to go out first? You're security"
This man is just so unitentionally hilarious. It's refreshing to see how down to earth Canelo is by comparison.
too soon.
not so much chisora, but if wilder beats him which i think he would the demand for bigger fights would be there and hes not ready for that. hes still very rough around the edges and needs more time to improve.
I kind of agree. If he wins then he'll probably be fast tracked to a Klitschko beating. But there are still options out there for him, fights with the likes of Fury (either), Povetkin, Wach, Thompson, Pianeta etc are all out there. He definitely needs to up his level of competition and start fighting some durable heavyweights who have been around the block at world level or thereabouts.
How does this fight get made though?
I imagine Hearn will continue fronting by claiming that they made Khan an offer to fight in Bolton or Sheffield, but they will probably lowball him. Khan is based in the US now, has a major US promoter and basically holds all the aces. It's a big UK fight that I'd like to see, but I feel that Team Khan are looking at far more lucrative options than "Special" K.
As for the fight...well not wanting to sound like Dwyer here, but either Khan's glass get's smashed or Kell's beak gets broke....
He has a somewhat boyish charm to him (No homo). Imagine showing a non boxing fan these pictures and trying to explain how this man is one of the most murderous puncher's in the sport! lol
What even the £500 seats? I tried to get some, but as soon as the £35 and £45 ones went, then that was that for me. Any more than that is too much for this fight imo.
Question: Can you become a pro boxer without being a hype man these days?
It's all about ticket sales , I see many a young pro hyping themselves on Twitter etc. So, without backing from a decent promoter, who, for example, trusted that you had the necessary talent and believed in your ability to succeed....can you make it without building up your fans on social media?
