How many times have you guys heard a casual utter the word "Merryweather" this week?

i havent heard anyone in real life (or anywhere outside of boxing forums/websites) talk about this fight. 2-3 weeks ago my boss asked if the fight was 'this weekend?' but only because he knows i like boxing and was probably just trying to make convo haha i never hear people talk about boxing in general. or ufc/mma for that matter

Not this time, but I have heard people call him Merryweather in the past. It's good that people get up for boxing matches, but I hate the way everyone suddenly becomes a boxing expert when there is a big fight on. It makes my teeth hurt.

I tried to spread the word about the fight at work the best I could, I did my duty for boxing lol.

Ha! That's funny. I haven't heard it this fight but leading up to Guerrero this guy kept saying it. I felt like punching him in his head.
