away from the public, no social media or the guys who are on twitter, facebook, and in front of the camera?
it's nice to see humble guys like Matthysse but then again most humble guys = their fans act like complete idiotic lunatics.
Examples are Matthysse and Pacquiao fans.
Who cares what they do outside of the ring. Only women should care what a athlete or a celeb does in their personal time. For instance, I like Brad Pitt movies. But I couldnt tell you how many kids he has or what his hobbies are because I dont give ****. My girl can name his kids and his last three exes. A lot of boxing fans on here act like women. I dont care how much $ they make, how they act, what they say or where they're from. I just want to see them fight. And I hope most fans are the same way. Stop this girly ****. Who cares.
loudmouths are good for boxing if they back it up in the ring
be obnoxious as you want to draw more attention to your fights
but if you do that, man up and fight your ass off
personally, don't give a fuck what they do outside of the ring
be loud, be humble, be a bit of both, whatever
but if you're gonna be loud, you're obligated to fight hard
if not, you lose your right to be taken seriously
Question: Can you become a pro boxer without being a hype man these days?
It's all about ticket sales , I see many a young pro hyping themselves on Twitter etc. So, without backing from a decent promoter, who, for example, trusted that you had the necessary talent and believed in your ability to succeed....can you make it without building up your fans on social media?
matthysee, ggg, kovalev
I prefer they interact with fans.peter Quillin seems to be the best at that.

I can confirm this. He's responded to me a few times on Instagram.

Yeah I became a fan of him through Sechbaks videos, added him on facebook when he had it and started watching his fights.
I don't mind if a fighter is low key though. If they are loud and annoying like Broner then I dislike them.
