I read all this comments here and I can't believe how some Mayweather fan are blind and can't see what seems obvious. For me Floyd-Pac is a 50/50 fight, which style would prevail if they ever fight is the big question and only in the ring can be answered. Floyd has problem with southpaw historically and Pacquiao is the ultimate southpaw in the sport. Everything Cotto did last Saturday Pacquiao does more effectively and dont forget that Pacquiao is stronger, faster and more accurate than Cotto.
Ironically Mayweather style is better match for Pac than Marquez, as good as Mayweather is, he has bad habits that all previous opponents failed to capitalize on the them but that Manny again being a southpaw, strong, fast, accurate and with killing instint won't miss to
Capitalize.
By the way all that I said Floyd already knows it, don't expect the crazy demands to ever finish. Said that, I keep my opinion after last Saturday fight that Floyd-Pac is a 50/50 fight.
Am I the only one that find these "Face off" a waste of resources? to me, it make it look like a fixed stuff, a theater, a novel. To me two me to guys that are willing to decapitate each other should only meet in the official weight-in and do all the promotion on TV and Internet.
The guy he wrote the article is an idiot and sorry classless club writer. I dont know why is so difficult for some people to shut their mouth up when they has nothing with sense to say. The man was chasing a clash with the long time recognized p4p king now only second to him and send him to vacation and now almost jail.
Everybody and their mother want a shot a Pacquiao for money, fame and spotlight but unfortunately he cant fight them all. Every time he fight one guy the other one hundred in the line would say he avoid them. They should stop chasing Pacquiao and make the good fights we all want to see and that they are capable of but put simple Pacquiao is in another league of his own.
Nahhh, I dont agree with your point regarding the Mosley fight. Let me explain to you what happened.
A: Margarito's obviously wasn't there after the infamous incident.
B: Because he walked through Cotto's punches he mistakenly though that he might be able to do the same with Mosley and was over confident in that regard but learned the hard way.
C: Maybe maybe that coupled with the fact that Cotto might took something away from him that Margarito wont ever get back. His fight with Garcia let me thinking even more about that.
See it this way and come back to me.
This forum is a Joke, how come can Mosley punch harder than Pacquiao if he could not threaten Cotto to go to the canvas and Pacquiao send him twice buzzing just to make and example.
Juanma is a farce and I dont see anything special from him, I can only say that he has decent power and thats it. After that, the guy can get it easy, is flat footed and has a crystal chin.
All I can say the guy is pure hype and nothing more. Israel Vazquez or Rafa Marquez not too far ago would have wiped the ring with him in one round.
...Keep trying media!!!
Wow the translation of "Cash Cow" in this one is the worst of any translation that I have seen in my entire life... I'm Latino yes but this one is plain horrible!
No surprise for me here. Boxing now a day is about false propaganda and talking and not about fists. When one nobody like Haye is involve in a called "One of the most significant fights in years" then you better know what you can expect. Haye is only a p4p in the "trash talking p4p list" where in fact he is an all time great.
Congratulations British for you great garbage.
Huh! they say he is too small to fight Pacquiao at Welterweight right? The fact is that JMM is listed at 5'7, that my friends is half inch taller than Pacquiao (5'6 1/2), then if he does has has the frame to carry the weight shame on him but no way we criticize Manny.
Thats only show you the lack of good fighters that we have and its reason to worry. Once Floyd, Pacman and Marquez call it a career, boxing will look very disappointing. I wont mind either if soon they change the name of the sport with this new generation and instead of Boxing they call it "Buxiness"
Mayweather my have the skills to bring the lastest version of Pacquiao to the edge but he lacks the ball to dance the big dance with this Filipino hero.
