..which do you dislike more?
I personally hate it when pacquao bangs his gloves and does this stupid "come on" nod after getting caught. it shows how arrogant he is. kinda' like he's surprised he actually got hit.
Floyd when he gets hit on purpose because he shouldnt do it just to make the fight seem more competative...why risk it? Look at what happen with Mosley.
for the last time..
the next time he does that, i hope he gets dropped for it. the funny thing is he's showing off when he's the one that's being hit. again, it's all for his image and his hardcore fans and that's why it's stupid. it has nothing to do with him playing mind games or trying to get a reaction from his opponent. that's enough of this. close thread.
Would we rather have their ideosyncracies "fixed" to satisfy us and lose games or let them be themselves and win their own way?
Who cares about these petty little things. It's like picking on Elvis' little corner-of-his-lips-contortion/distortion as he sings. Who cares, that's who they are and what they do.
Sometimes we focus on the little things.
If ur not a fan, ur annoyed.
Ur allowed to be annoyed at whatever, so if u don't like Manny, I doubt u'll like when he does things to make others seem weak. That's apart of being a fan.
No one (or at least no one who's being realistic) is asking for them to stop, we're just pointing out that it annoys us. No harm in that.

I love it when Manny does that. He's a bit of a goofy guy at times and that kind of shows his personality in the ring. Remember, personalities can even show in boxing matches.
i see it as:
manny hitting his gloves: means that he wants more, or can take more. he forces himself to take more. i see it as he acknowledges that that he got caught by a punch or series of punches but tells himself gimmie more. sorta like forcing that last bench press when your tired. i always saw it as more for pushing himself rather than solely for taunting the other fighter. although it does taunt the other player lol. its kinda like clapping after you got hit in the balls, you wanna take your mind off the pain lol.
as for floyd, i see more to taunt. he knows he got caught with a good shot, but will smile to make it seem like hes still a boss.
im biased lol.
Neither bothers me. It shows that they're bosses in that ring. I've also caught both fighters (and many others) look to their corners mid fight and laugh.. fucckkin around..
I dont know what some dudes get outta a dude smiling at another dude....especially if that dude is trying to take ya fukkin head off....just sayin!!....Manny touchin' his gloves is the sh!t imo...its sayin', ok muhfukka you got me, but I aint phased b!tch, lets go!! :lol1:...I love it when he does that :boxing:
Manny hypes me up when he hits his gloves, cuz I know he's a scrapper, he wants to bang. Floyd is just annoying with his gay ass smile.
This, Berserk Time
No!! It's fun to watch Boxers trading punches!! It's fighting not tag and run!! Its a competition on who's the baddest man, not the fastest runner. You might as well switch your fav sports to Track and field!!
Man, you must hate Muhammed Ali then.
neither..
what irritates me is a fighter coming in a gladiator outfit and end up fighting like a vagina.
Hahaha
I like both, its a way to say im still in it
Pac loves action so when he get hit it excite him more and wants some more.
Floyd loves running around like a *****. His style is to hit and not to be hit so when he get hits, his normal reaction is to smile saying in his mind "oh you got me"!
I don't see why anyone would care, your not the one standing there getting smashed in the face by a trained fighter wearing 8 oz gloves.
Personally I like a little bit of agression, when pac taps his gloves together it shows that he understands his opponent hit him but is telling him that he can take it, bring on more.
where mayweather smiling shows that "yea you hit me, and you think thats gonna be enough to stop me, dont make me laugh"
This is boxing, your not just fighting a guy physically but mentally; any little thing to break them down is a great strategy.
