I don't think its only money. Look Calzaghe could fill the M-stadium now with 70K ppl. His drawing-power increased since the Kessler-fight. He could make ~10M $ fighting an average name like Johnson, Taylor or Dawson in Wales. But there is no real mega-fight out there, money or legacy-wise. Joe is not hungry anymore. I was shocked when i heard that he could motivate himself for the Hopkins fight, his first fight in the US. Joe's work ethic in the gym AND in the ring during the fight always impressed me. But he is not the same fighter anymore, he is not this hungry kid like 1-2 years ago when he fought Kessler or Lacy. It's not a shame after 20years of boxing. He is 37, not too young to retire.
