It is a big deal when all the tickets have been sold and all the arrangements have been made. It's a major inconvenience. If Wald can get a decent opponent he should take it for sure. things happen, yet its only like 3 weeks later. but it's ok to just take a "decent oppt" rather than the only fight at hw anyone cares about? great logic.

And a chance to fight Chagaev for The Ring belt would also be significant. Damn this injury. It really muddles the picture. It sure does. The only issue is site planning and tv date availability. This is supposed to be a massive event. I dont know how easy it is to find a new venue or if the current one has the date open for 50,000+ spectators. It's not like you are moving a fight that 2,500 people were going to attend. Exactly. Its not as easy as just put the fight back 1 month. There has to be a TV date and an arena to house the event.

Wlad has no security that HAye will be ready in July. No fighter has any security that the other fighter will be ready on the date of the fight.
