Who gives a S H I T about Joshua vs Fury, the fight just about everyone wants to see is Joshua vs Wilder & Wilder is even willing to do it in Joshua's back yard..They should stop ducking Wilder & stop talking about fights no one wants to see(like with Fury) & man up & fight the cream of the crop.
Then Bennett also needs tp be investigated..Judge Byrd has been involved in a few bad decisions & after ladt night to say she could still work big fights is crazy..She shouldn't work ANY FIGHTS, not even 4 rounders!
¿Who really gives a S H I T what this bum says? He looked like weak a s s defenseless mummy..¿Why would anyone consider this a good victory for Canelo.
The only thing shown here was that
GGG got robbed again & it seems like Oscar has done a $uperb job on making sure the judges give Canelo a few rounds vefore the fight even starts
¿Hard hitting Collazo? Just because he stopped Ortíz in 2 in his last fight doesn't make him a hard hitter, in 41 fights he has only 18KO's while Khan in 32 fights(9 less) has 19KO's(1 more than Collazo) So according to the person who write this then Khan would be a devastating puncher(something like Golovkin, Matthysse or Julian Jackson)Which he's not.
Haye might end up in the same situation he was in when he fought Carl Thompson..When Thompson fought Haye he had 6 defeats & 5 were by KO..Check out the video--->http://www.youtube. com/watch?v=DhWh3tN5s4M
Even thou Katsidis is a top of the line fighter, he is a natural lightweight, so ¿why doesn't Khan take on a legitimate jr welter? There are a lot of good fight's at 140lbs, like Victor Ortiz, Alvarado, Peterson or even Joan Guzman(who just went up in weight)...Maybe if the $$$'s right, Katsidis won't mind going up to fight Khan..Plus there's no quit in Katsidis & he does have pop in his punches...But it still seems like Khan is trying to pick smaller fighters or fighters with no KO power instead of fighting his mandatory or who ever is next in line..Khan is cardboard champ..
Haye should join "Coke Head" Hatton in retirement!! After Haye's S H I T T Y performance against Klitschko ¿Who the hell would wanna waste some time of their lives watching Haye fight anyone again?
Khan's defense of himself & Pacquiao(on illegal drug allegations)is SO lame!! Khan says-->“Why don’t people say Maidana is on something because the power he has got is mad? He has got power that not many fighters have."... Maybe because Maidana has always had that power & has been more or less the same fighter from day 1..But it's weird that when fighters lack's certain ability's like power, strength, speed, resistance or the ability to take a punch, as soon as they start training at the "Wild Card" with Roach & Ariza as their conditioning coach ALL THAT changes drastically ESPECIALLY THE POWER & BEING ABLE TO WITHSTAND HARD SHOTS!! For example look at Pacquiao, before Roach & Ariza he got KO'd twice & ever since Ariza started as his conditioning coach he's gone up 40lbs & his physical aspect hasn't changed much except that he's bulkier & is WAY FASTER than before has MORE POWER & NOW PACQUIAO COULD GET HIT WITH A HAMMER & HE'LL TAKE IT & WILL COME BACK SWINGING!!! & that BULL S H I T that Pacquiao is scared of needles, C'MON!! He has a number of tattoos & even admitted that his 1st tattoo HE DID TO HIMSELF WITH A SEWING NEEDLE!!! Yet other fighters go up a couple of pounds & they are not the same, they either look heavy or they loose their speed or their power, or both!! As Trinidad went up in weight, he didn't have the same KO power he had as a welter & jr middle & De La Hoya looked sluggish & didn't have any power as a Middleweight & Mosley was blasting fighters away as a lightweight, but as a welter & jr middle he was fast but didn't have that explosive KO power he had as a lightweight & Camacho Sr that as a jr lightweight & Lightweight was lightning fast yet a couple of pounds up at jr welter & welter that speed he once had wasn't really there... & Khan got ANNIHILATED by Prescott in the 1st round & ever since then Prescott has fought 5 times & has scored ONLY 1 TKO victory & has lost 2(UD & SD)...& NOW Khan manage to WITHSTAND a LOT of hard shots from Maidana(who IS a VERY SOLID puncher) & did NOT go down & manged to win.. Another example is the feather fisted Malignaggi who in the past critized the S H I T out of the "Wild Card" & has accused Roach & Ariza of giving P.E.D's to Pacquiao & Khan & has even said "I WANT SOME OF WHAT EVER THEY ARE TAKING, CAUSE THAT STUFF IS GOOD!" & now Malignaggi who practically just STARTED training at the "Wild Card" & before the "Wild Card" hasn't scored a stoppage since 2003 & by coincidence he just happen to scored a TKO STOPPAGE the other day(the 18th of this month to be exact)!!! & another thing is that when James Toney came out positive for steroids he was TRAINING WITH ROACH!! Stuff like that does raise eyebrows & leaves people wondering....
how you a boxer and you pulling out a gun...... wtf is that???? knock homeboy the fukk out and keep it moving.
I don't know how things are(crime wise ect ect) in Panamá, but at least here in Puerto Rico when someone in a car follows another screaming & talking S H I T, 95% of the time that person is armed & WILLING TO USE IT!!(it has happen many times, too many)..So it doesn't matter if the 1 being followed is a boxer, martial art's expert or a combination of Bruce Lee & Steven Segal in 1, HE IS NOT STOPPING A BULLET!!! So probably Concepcion did the right thing..At least he had a valid permit for the gun!!!!
Good test for Gamboa..Salido was trying to smother Gamboa & was actually smothering himself as well & at the same time Gamboa was trying to come in & land his shots, so the fight didn't look that good & Gamboa didn't seem to impress at all, but it's also hard to look good against a fighter who's coming in & fighting the way Salido was..& Gamboa wasn't hurt at all in this fight..Actually Salido was the 1 who got staggered a few times..I've seen Gamboa fight many times & even thou he's gone down a few times I've never really seen him hurt(wobbled or dazed) He's only suffered flash knockdowns...Gamboa's corner was giving him the right instructions, but most of the time he didn't seem to follow them & he's gotta stop that very bad habit of keeping his hands down & needs to move around more & put them boxing skills to work & eventually the KO will come on it's own..If Juanma get's past Marquez & the fight with Gamboa gets set, then that could be when Gamboa's chin will get checked..
Looking at Juanma 2 fridays ago at a local match here in Puerto Rico, his fat ass looks like he's campaigning at super middle!!They'll probably try to match him up against Bute or something...
This really sucks!! I thought this fight was gonna be live on espn2(which is about to start now) & it turns out to be a taped version!! & to make it worst, now I know the outcome!!
Like I posted in the other thread on the regrettable death of Bert Sugar, Q.E.P.D. Bert Sugar.. One hell of a boxing historian, now he's history himself..I guess them cigars finally did their job on him..What a shame..But Sugar lived the way he wanted to & enjoyed it & that's all that matters..
(By the way, for those wondering Q.E.P.D. is R.I.P in Spanish)
I dont know how you give this to showtime , I still think HBO has the better stable of fighters/ fights I want to watch and better potential matchups than showtime golden boy. Ward Golovkin Stevenson kovalev Marquez PAC Mikey Garcia rigondeaux. I realize showtime has Floyd but if Floyd keeps fighting watered down fights who really cares. I also think Broner and Canelo got exposed this year, so in a way showtime shot its load.
Either you work for or you have relative that works for HBO or Top Rank or only have HBO to make a comment like that cause it's no-brainer that Showtime definitely had the better fights.. HBO had some good main events, but the undercards were crap & Showtime had both, good main events & undercards, some of Showtime regular cards were better than some of HBO's PPV's..
This title fight reminded Me of Rigondeaux vs Casimero & that's bad cause besides being one of the most boring title fights in the history of boxing, Casimero/Rigondeaux has the record for the least amount of punches thrown & landed in a Title fight. This one between Stevenson & De Los Santos might be right up there with it.Shakur fights are good for anyone suffering from insomnia, cause theiy'll go right to slep(zzzzzzz)
Khan's explanation on how he thinks McCloskey is going to beat Prescott is a good 1 or it could be a way of Khan giving McCloskey some advice, but it sounds more like he's HOPING McCloskey(who Khan already beat) beats Prescott so that the talks of a rematch between Khan & Prescott will totally fall off the drawing board & that would also be the excuse team Khan would use to avoid fighting Prescott...Personally I think Khan is at a way different level now than when he fought Prescott & I think if they fought now Khan will outbox him & probably even win by KO..
I seen him fight in the Olympics & liked his style & I thought he was a sure Medal winner, but in some cases the scoring system in the amateurs is not all that accurate & that's why they are going to change it(again) to a more professional like style..This Kid should do real good in the pros, I'll definitely be checking him out..
Good test for both..Good test for Matthysse to see how could do against an exchamp with very good skills & that's strong, fast, experienced & has some pop in his punches & a good test for Judah to see how much he has left against a strong undefeated ranked young gun with a lot of power...
is that a joke....its 6 pictures from a 12 rounds fight...how do u expect it to justify anything....
In a way it is, but they could at least show 1 of Wilczewski throwing a punch(not even landing, but at least show he tried to fight back)..Those pictures make it seem like it was totally 1 sided & that doesn't justify boxing scene's score of having it closer than the judges..If I'm doing an article with pictures & say that the fight went one way, I'm definitely going to show proof it went that way & not say one thing & show another cause that would only take away any credibility of what I'm trying to prove..
After the last 3 decision's between them(Which I thought it should have gone in Marquéz favor) finally Marquéz takes it in to his own hands & does justice by getting a CLEAR CUT, NO DOUBT victory with a spectacular KO!! Congratz to Marquéz!! I always ask ¿why they keep saying Paquiao is an 8 division world champion?when he's actually only has won recognized world titles in 6 divisions(which is great! A lot of good fighters don't even get 1) Let Me explain, his 1st world title was at flyweight(112lbs) against Gabriel Mira(which he lost on his first defence against Singsurat by TKO 3) Then he won the IBF super bantam title(122lbs) against Ledwaba, after that he won the WBC super featherweight title(126lbs) in his 2nd fight against Marquéz.. Then he won the WBC lightweight title(130lbs) against David Díaz & after that he won the WBO welterweight title(147lbs)against Miguel Cotto(at a catch weight) & after that he won the WBC jr middleweight title(154lds which was vacant & at a catch weight) against Margarito... Against Ricky Hatton it was for the IBO jr welterweight(140lbs) world title & that title not many recognize that as a legitimate world unless someone like Hatton, Klitschko or Pacquiao has it, but if someone like Afonzo Gomes or Jessie Feliciano had it, it would be considered insignificant & it should be the same for EVERYONE!! & even counting that bogus IBO title it still equals to 7, so ¿Where's the 8th? Cause before & in between those title fights he won OPBF & WBC "International" titles which aren't officially world titles..Someone messed up on the count & it hasn't been corrected..
I saw Jacobs win (7-5) a close fight that even tho it could have gone either way or even draw, it should be no surprise that the balance was tilted towards the Canelo (as it has been the case in other close fights in which Canelo has been involved & in some there has also been very sketchy cards favoring Canelo)
It's true, Floyd ain't the one running....
Floyd ain't running or avoiding the fight, Pacquiao is!..Pacquiao has tried every excuse he could think of not to get Randomly tested and Pacquiao is the one that doesn't want to fight just because he does not want that type of drug test....So at the end no one has to accuse Paquiao of cheating because he's the one looking guilty just on his own act..
It's already been cleared that Capetillo could work with his fighter(Segura) in the GYM while he's in Puerto Rico but come fightnight Capetillo CAN'T be nowhere near the dressing room(where they are getting their hands wrapped)& CAN'T be nowhere near the corner during the fight.. It's no secret that Capetillo was Seguras trainer & that's the reason Seguras last 4 or 5 fights had been in Mexico, before that all of his fight's had been in the u.s...
Sanabria has never fought out of Mexico & Juarez is the best fighter Sanbria has ever faced & according to the scores it looks like he beat Juarez easily...Sanabria lost to a guy that was 7-8 by UD three fights before he faced Juarez...Juarez has become a stepping stone & tune up opponent & I don't think this was his goal when he became a pro, so he should just retire...
why do ricans get so fat easily? Not enough aztec mestizo blood?
If Cotto had any of that Aztec mestizo blood in him he would have been weighing at least 200lbs!! Them tacos, mole & menudo does a job on fighters, just look at FAT LARD ASS CRYBABY Chris Arreola!!
