ANTHONY JOSHUA was a knockout hit in 2017 but will be an even bigger star if he fights Tyson Fury next year, says promoter Eddie Hearn. The IBF, IBO and WBA world heavyweight champion is the bookies' favourite to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year at Liverpool's Echo Arena tonight. Click Here To Read More]
Listening to Eddie Hearn wax lyrical about Joshua being loved is cringe worthy.
"One of the best performances in boxing history". You've got to be taking the piss.
Tyson needs three or four fights at ascending levels .AJ. needs to fight Wilder and tell his limp dicked promoter that fighting anyone but won't pull the wool over the real fans eyes. After seeing Parker struggle with the very average Hughie Fury really makes that fight low interest.Parker should fight Whyte or Miller as his limits are there to see.
Tyson should also tell Hearn where to go as he has nothing to do with Tyson's career.
Lol eddie hopes it happens next year because after 2018 AJ’s contracts up... if AJ goes solo & makes the fury fight by himself edward wont see a penny from it, coincidence that eddies trying to get his claws into fury offering him 3 fight deals? He needs a back up plan if AJ leaves... dillian whyte will be hearns best heavyweight 😂😂😂 #matchroom
What makes you think Joshua would leave Matchroom? They've done a pretty bloody good job with him, anybody would have to admit that.

Who gives a S H I T about Joshua vs Fury, the fight just about everyone wants to see is Joshua vs Wilder & Wilder is even willing to do it in Joshua's back yard..They should stop ducking Wilder & stop talking about fights no one wants to see(like with Fury) & man up & fight the cream of the crop.
Tyson Fury isn't fighting big fights until he's good and ready. Doesn't matter what fat Eddie says. Sooner or later Anthony Joshua isn't going to get an unfit Tyson Fury, and he will eventually have to fight Deontay Wilder. After all the talk they can flesh out 2018 with Joseph Parker and then a parade of bums.
We want Joshua Wilder for fcking sake.
Yeah he knows. He knows damn well.
“He” being Eddie Hearn.
He doesn’t want AJ in there and this last month or so has shown that, he’s much more happy pursuing the likes of Parker and Fury etc than he is to actually hash out and work away at a Wilder fight.
There isn’t a scrap at HW that needs to work out more than AJ - Wilder.
Fury is on a comeback/redemption path...Parker isn’t regarded as a legitimate challenge and worthwhile champion. Then there’s Deontay, yes he’s being hard to deal with but so is Parker, don’t see Hearn so easily swerving him do we?
Doubt it. If Fury DOES get back into shape, he'll fight in April / May ideally (against a bum - warm-up fight), then he'd want at least one solid contender August / September, and that leaves not much room for promotion and working out a deal etc.
One thing for sure, after watching Parker vs Hughie Fury it really shows that Tyson Fury would flatten him (Parker). I love Tyson but his younger cousin is vastly inferior to him in every aspect - technical ability, power, reach, size, weight etc.,
AJ fight, if it happens, most likely takes place in 2019 at the earliest.
