Turkey can put on some good cards some of the best we seen in years But when it comes to live events he very underwhelming. 1st has anyone here been to the fights in SA? I feel like he is dropping the ball in having the fights out there because not to many people is going to fly out there just for a good match it has to be may vs pac type of event. I understand they want to make that the boxing Mecca but come on. the haney vs teo fight should have easily landed in New York or Vegas. Now you got two Americans fighting in a foreign country. And don’t get me started on that Garcia vs rolly card catastrophe. How do you have a deep card like that but closed off to the public? Its almost like he is going out his way to sabotage himself lol

The card is about 1 month away and tickets have not gone on sale. They are having it in times square which is weird. is this fight even open to the public?

Did you guys buy the Spence vs Crawford Ppv? It’s long been said that we don’t get the fights that we want and now that they are starting to happen and one is here it’s time we show the boxing buisness that if they make the fights we want then we will support it. if this fight does well than more fights will happen just like how I think this fight happened because of the Davis vs garcia fight. If this fight doesn’t do well but I think it will don’t get surprised when you see canelo vs McGregor In Dubai instead of canelo vs benividez.

The fight is only 3 weeks away and I still have yet to hear of any undercard fights. I’m not expecting much giving the fight all ready sold out the arena so they will figure the main event should be good enough and just load the undercard with sub par filler fights unlike the benavidez vs plant under card.

Is there any word of any undercard fights yet? I’m not expecting anything really because when you have a main event that can sell it self boxing usually cheaps out on the undercard hard. I think we might get badou jack if mayweather hasn’t used him allready or they might revive gamboa for the 4th time. For what’s available I think the best co main they can do is if get broner to swallow his pride and fight on the undercard. What do y’all think.

Presale tickets went on sale today and the arena is damn near sold out allready. If this fight is lucrative it will push other fighters to make the fights people want to see (throws Crawford/Spence under the bus). If this fight fails then it will put even more fear into promoters thus not making the big fights. this fight needs to be a success I got my tickets and will be at the T mobile arena. is anyone else going or purchasing Ppv.

A lot of Boxing has been getting canceled,post poned or just not getting negotiated. What boxers do you think would excel at this(a lot of power no defense) and who would get exposed?

We have been hearing boxing is dead for decades now even before Tyson and Mayweather. But is it really safe to say boxing is in trouble? I have never seen so many fights people wanted to see fall apart with such rapid succession only to be replaced with mediocre fights no one asked for. pacquioa/Spence, turns to pacquiao vs ugas(not a bad match up but nobody wanted to watch from a fan perspective) canelo was to fight Benavidez/charlo but it turned to bivol /ggg 3. spence/Crawford turned to I don’t even know the guy Crawford is fighting Fury/Joshua turned to fury vs chisora and I have a feeling tank/garcia is going to turn to tank vs mares and garcia vs some dazn fighter no one has heard of. It’s like boxing is going out it’s way to put it self out it’s misery.

All 3 fights where decided by judges so there was no KO’s and there was no knockdowns in 36 rounds and no one was truly hurt to the point someone was getting stopped or dropped. Now that could be a testament to both of them having extremely good chins. I understand some people wanted to see a 3rd fight because they wanted a definitive winner because they thought both fights where controversial but i personally felt the two where enough and canelo edged out the 2nd one. I watched this fight at the movies and I never fall asleep out in public but the undercard fights I got dropped and went in and out of consciousness and I got upset because I was by myself and didn’t like being off guard like that lol. now the main event was not boring but I think people just wanted it to end dramatically that’s why I think fans was booing when there was “decent” action throughout the fight. but going from fights like pacquiao/Marquez and fury/wilder was this the most boring trilogy?

This fight should have been got announced. seems like it was many years ago when the boxing world was on the edge of its seat when Spence infamously said “I’ll take his sh!t too” referring to Crawford’s belt. And Crawford saying now is the best time and nothing is in the way. here we are many months later and still nothing and last we heard from Espinoza (the only credible source speaking publicly) said he still being “hopeful” the fight can be made this year. And now Crawford seems to be caught up in some legal issues with that same guy that got fury in trouble. now tank vs garcia seems more likely to get made and they seem to have some real traction going and that is a another big fight that could take up Ppv money from showtime. And now this monkey pox health scare which actually looks terrifying compared to covid just got declared a national health emergency and that could greatly effect their potential gate.

Broner said Floyd does want other fighters to do good but not better than him. And if you are doing good he wants his name attached some how. I noticed with Floyd if there is another big fight out there that is getting a lot of attention Floyd has do something to steal it’s thunder. canelo vs ggg 1 was set to happen then Floyd makes the mcgregor fight 2 weeks before that to steal Ppv money/ticket sales. Floyd even tried to go after his own promoted fighters tank/rolly (tank was saying publicly he was leaving) and held a press conference the day of his own fighters press conference and was set to have his exhibition a week before their fight but than it got moved. and finally Yes I am reaching and have no real evidence to back this claim but I think the reason why we haven’t got a date for the Spence vs Crawford fight yet is because it just came out that Floyd might do a rematch with mcgregor and he will want to put his fight right before theirs to try and lessen their Ppv money and attention. I think out of all the fights Floyd does not want Spence vs Crawford to do well because they are both UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS fighting to be undisputed at welterweight something I think Floyd never accomplished. Floyd looked agitated when reporters kept asking him about that fight and instead of the next exhibition has lined up.

Everybody kept calling me a casual when I said nobody heard of bivol until he was named as one of canelo’s potential opponents. It didn’t even feel like a real fight week and hear it is fight day and there is not alot of buzz. I understand canelo wants that belt in a bigger weight class but man. If canelo was facing charlo right now best believe there would be a lot more excitement and buzz going on right now. also we all ready seen ggg and canelo go 24 rounds with no knock downs or real drama. The 3rd fight might be more exciting because ggg has slowed down but if it comes down to it ggg will know how to survive if it gets to thick in there for him and might try to jab him self to another decision loss instead of a knock out loss. So at this point Benavidez would have been the better option for September.

Mayweather is not promoting tanks fight at all. He doesn’t even have it posted on his Instagram. The day of tanks press conference mayweather announced his own exhibition which is to be 2 weeks before tanks fight. tank was talking spicy on his social media platforms but at the press conference he made it seem like it was still a possibility he could resign but mayweather pretty much said F?$k tank by his actions allready lol.

Gamboa has hit the deck I think 19 times but he has never been knocked unconscious but all his 3 stoppages where ref stoppages . Khan has been knocked down I think 10x but he has been knocked unconscious once or twice(if you want to count the presscott KO) and has had several ref stoppages if I had to choose I’d pick gamboa because I might get baby deer legs off a jab but atleast I’ll get up.

Let’s be honest most people have not heard of bivol until the canelo sweepstakes and ggg has done nothing since his last fight with canelo but get older. Canelo and ggg have allready gone 24 rounds allready and the fights didn’t have the drama or excitement that would warrant a trilogy like fury/wilder or pac/Marquez. The only thing going for that fight is it’s looks more and more likely canelo smashes ggg this time around. I think canelo/charlo will do the most numbers of the 4 and benavidez will have the most exciting fight with canelo due to his fighting style. im willing to bet charlo/benavidez sells more Ppv’s than bivol/ggg.

1st off I just want to say canelo is hands down the best fighter in the world right now and is definitely going down in history as one of the greats. Canelo has definitely improved since his fight against mayweather but it’s unfair to say that Floyd deliberately got him when he was too inexperienced. Canelo was 23 and mayweather was 36 I believe. Floyd was no spring chicken and people have been saying before that fight that he lost his legs in the mosley fight. to the people that like to discredit floyds win over Canelo what would be the appropriate time for that fight to take place?

Let’s be honest there would be no canelo was inexperienced they would be saying Floyd could have fought him when canelo called him out but he was too scared. Mayweather would be getting slaughtered right now lol

Every time a fighter loses boxing “fans” come running saying that fighter needs to retire or hang it up. I see this all too often on boxing forums and even sometimes analysts say a fighter needs to retire after a loss or only their 2nd loss. I noticed ever since mayweather reigned once a fighter loses he is basically done to the public. I think that’s because if floyd was to lose his 0 no matter at what age even his late 20’s or early 30’s casual fans even some real so called boxing fans would think he is finished and his career is over because he can’t say he is undefeated no more. So they apply that to every boxer now. In mma you have guys that have 5 or more losses or been KTFO before and become stars AFTER that.

Undefeated Wilder vs AJ was supposed to be the biggest heavy weight fight in a long time. But then ruiz ruined it then fury came in and ruined it on wilder side. so then aj gets his belts back and then him vs fury was supposed to be the big UK battle but now that is out the window. And now I have feeling wilder is going to KO fury in devastating fashion and we might be looking at wilder vs fury 4 and 5 next year. same thing happened with Juanma lopez vs gamboa and now I have feeling it’s going to happen with the fighters like teo Lopez,tank Davis,devin hanny, and Ryan garcia. Those fight are going to “marinate” too long as well.

Ugas thoroughly beat pacquiao there is no debating that. Pac looked lost at some points and desperate But can you name me any fighter right now that could beat ugas under those circumstances. let’s take away being 42 out the equation even a young fighter right now who do you think would fight ugas after a 2 year lay off and a couple days notice and be successful. I think a prime 30 year old Floyd would wash ugas after a lay off but if floyd was to come back and fight ugas after a 2 years at 41 off like he did McGregor Floyd would be 49-1. had pac got a tune up fight before hand and a whole camp dedicated to ugas do you think he could have did better I think he would had.

Imagine pacquiao running threw pbc fighters when all those guys was fresh. If pacquiao fought broner in 2013 that fight would have did ATLEAST 2 million buys. If pac gets past ugas no doubt in my mind he would have beaten most if not all the top welterweights over there. Also he would have been guaranteed a rematch with Floyd (Floyd would have beat him both times). but instead pac spent most of that decade fighting people like Brandon rios,Chris algerie,a faded mathysse,Jessie Vargas, expired sugar Shane Mosley, useless rematches with Bradley and two struggle fights with Marquez and the infamous cherry pick gone wrong with Jeff horn. Did pacquiao staying with top rank too long hurt his career?

I just got off the phone with the axs help center and they said A TON of people are calling in angry asking for a refund. She was joking around saying that’s all she been doing all day was dealing with the fight. she said it will take several days for me to see my money back on my card so they are giving refunds. It’s well know promoters don’t respect manny on the business side and feel like they can get over on him. Pacquiao is going to get Bradlied and Jeff horned all in one night. Too many shady coincidences happened in the build up to this fight. I had Spence beating pacquiao but he was looking kinda ferocious in those training clips. All ugas has to do is survive and he will get the same backlash Bradley did added in with the fact people think he all ready does not deserve the belt he got gifted. He will become a international super villain overnight and Spence will step in as the hero to right the wrong with a in house pbc unification fight.

Since the fight was announced in may Spence has probably posted like 7 ig post and did the press conference and like 3 interviews. pacman is out here shaking hands and kissing babies not giving a f?$k about corona showing training clips damn near every day promoting the fight doing interviews while Spence is doing his best al haymon impression. spence was more vocal in the brook and porter fight because they had to bring it out of him and pacquiao isn’t the type to talk much himself but atleast he is active with the public. if this is Spence breakout fight he needs to do something on the promoting front.

As the fight gets closer and closer mayweather is notorious for doing something to put himself in the mix of another big fight that he is not involved in. floyd has been putting up videos of him running and hitting the mitts lately. Is he going to announce another fight/exhibition as the pac/Spence buzz gets bigger so he can steal its thunder?

Due to all the shows in Vegas, and heavy tourism and casinos opening up fully without mask required they are saying Las Vegas has become a hot spot for covid. Vegas just went back to employees having to wear mask and they are saying if cases continue to spike they will start to shut things down again. Bruno Mars and some other acts have canceled the rest of there shows in Vegas for whatever reason. August 21st is going to be a very busy weekend with pacquiao/Spence and wwe summer slam happening on the same night. fury vs wilder got canceled IMO because of low ticket sales. Pac vs Spence looks likely to sell out the closer the fight gets so we will see.

Fury and his team time and time again have shown that they are some shady and conniving people. Even before wilder they have been accused of being cheaters and con artist. There are so many holes in his covid story from arum saying he was fully vaccinated to now he wasn’t smh. Fury has been seen out and about freely shopping with no mask and still has not said anything about the matter. wilder doesn’t sound so crazy now when he said”you don’t think fury won’t try and cheat again”?. If your a fury fan I don’t see how you can defend this.
