It's odd that you say he should have fought Charlo for the hype - yet GGG Canelo 3 will be all hype really and make way more money than Canelo Charlo. And you say GGG 3 is no real challenge for him, yet he is facing Bivol, the clear 2nd best guy at 175 right now. So he is handling both of the things you accuse him of not doing in those 2 fights - he has the hype fight, and he has the tough fight. And neither fight will be easy and the Bivol fight has some hype too.

Bivol is at worst the 2nd toughest fight available for Canelo. And that’s arguable, Bivol might be better than Beterbiev. This is a great fight and Canelo picked a legit elite talent and a threat. If he beats Bivol easily then there’s not a lot of challenges left. Doesn’t mean he won’t fight guys, but after Bivol and possible Beterbiev next year, if he beats them both, every single possible opponent will be viewed as an easy win for him.

It didn’t even feel like a real fight week and hear it is fight day and there is not alot of buzz. I understand canelo wants that belt in a bigger weight class but man. If canelo was facing charlo right now best believe there would be a lot more excitement and buzz going on right now. also we all ready seen ggg and canelo go 24 rounds with no knock downs or real drama. Nel o seems to have more varied choice of challengers, people would like charlo, beterbiev, benavidez etc etc. when Duran beat davey moore it was a impressive win as he stepped up. weight.
