Turkey can put on some good cards some of the best we seen in years But when it comes to live events he very underwhelming.
1st has anyone here been to the fights in SA? I feel like he is dropping the ball in having the fights out there because not to many people is going to fly out there just for a good match it has to be may vs pac type of event. I understand they want to make that the boxing Mecca but come on.
the haney vs teo fight should have easily landed in New York or Vegas. Now you got two Americans fighting in a foreign country. And don’t get me started on that Garcia vs rolly card catastrophe. How do you have a deep card like that but closed off to the public? Its almost like he is going out his way to sabotage himself lol
I sat in the Mexican section during Pacquiao-Marquez 4 and although part of me wanted to DIE after Manny got KO'd, I can't deny that the hysteria and jubilation from the Mexican fans was other-wordly. I've never experienced anything like it at ANY sporting event since.
I know that had to be crazy
manny was on his way to finally stopping his arch nemesis Juan
and then **** clapped
Yeah no thanks to this PED peddling motherf*cker...

Saudis got it up in Riyadh for Bivol-Tiger Paw Artur Part 2
That was special fight between two ATGs
It was the most pumped I ever seen the Saudis
So Turki demands part 3:cool:
When i went most the arena were fans that have also travelled from abroad. Lot of UK fans lot of Bivol fans even Parker fans had flown all the way from NZ. I think Riyadh is a good experience but go when there is a card that has a few good fights. Also the timing is an issue if there are more 6am ringwalk that isn't good for fans there and neither can fighters be at their best walking to the ring at 6am. If in Feb they have another stacked card (guessing Canelo will headline) might go again. The issue with having american/american based fighters is the big time diff i think 10 hours Vegas and Riyadh. So making it primetime for US for tv views is good for exposure there but not the best for fans and fighters going to Saudi

Lol...the first time he got dropped was shocking but the KO that came shortly after was totally unthinkable. The only other time I've been equally stunned during a fight is when McGregor KO'd Aldo in 13 seconds.
Nothing beats a big fight in Vegas atmosphere. Mayweather vs Canelo was the biggest fight I personally been too and tank vs ryan was nice too. All those Saudi fights look lifeless.

The other thing is Beterbiev Bivol started around 2am. I thought that was late but was still good atmosphere and fight.Saudis got it up in Riyadh for Bivol-Tiger Paw Artur Part 2

Well said...why pay for flights, hotels and fight tickets to watch a fight in a BORING atmosphere when you can't even let your hair down and enjoy yourself properly without the fear of getting arrested?
I've been to several fights in Vegas (including Pacquiao-Marquez 4) and not only has the atmosphere been ELECTRIC every single time, the opportunity to go clubbing and g@mbling makes it even more worthwhile!

Feb 22nd. Was a great atmosphere. Was a small arena so great view. And no alcohol makes it even better no smelly alcoholics and no drunk idiots. If you want to go for the boxing experience itself and you don't need alcohol to have a good time go for it. But go when there is a good card. Feb 22nd was stacked top to bottom. I would only go again if there was a similar card that way if 1 or 2 fighters pull out still should be worth going. The other thing is Beterbiev Bivol started around 2am. I thought that was late but was still good atmosphere and fight.
Canelo Scull ringwalk i didn't go but Saudi time would have been about 6.15am that is why it was also dead. I think that would be the same for Teo Haney as they are US fighters. For fights they need on primetime US i don't think it would be worth going to watch a main event at 6.15am. 2am was not too bad
EXACTLY!
if Id dare go anywhere out in that area, it'd be Dubai. Cousin of mine weminlast year, had a great time.Vegas wh0res are on another level!

Sorry to disappoint you brother but Vegas wh0res are on another level!
Seriously though, partying in Vegas after a big boxing match is an experience like no other (especially when there's loads of Mexican hotties around). Put it on your bucket list.

Ain't worth it imo. No drinking, no women, no clubs, no parties and what looks like a boring crowd.
I like the fact Turki is making good/great cards happen but would rather watch them at my house or bar.

I used to go to Mecca every year for the Haji Pilgrimage. I've since turned my life over to Christianity. It is a beautiful country. Tons of museums and what not.
