now list which one of these fighters had MULTIPLE CATCHWEIGHT FIGHTS..ill be waiting
Now list which one of these fighters was an 8 division champ.
Moron.
:lol1::lol1::lol1:
This guy should be a comedian.
GGG's shi.t level of comp cannot be ignored.
He's fighting scrubs in a dead division..and he's still getting busted up.
GGG's jab is OK...just like he is.
You sound mad. :fing26:
Scared is the reason ggg says he's not ready for Ward.
Ward isn't the one holding the lineal and WBC middleweight title and taking his voluntary against a guy his mandatory just smashed:dead: :lol1::lol1:
its called a voluntary.... that and cotto is getting paid regardless... after geale, canelo then GGG.
It's called scared.
Why would he fight the guy Golovkin just destroyed in 3 rounds, especially when Golovkin brings in more money than Geale?:rofl:
:fing26:
Internal bleeding eh lol , what a bunch of fcn retards lol
Marks like this are on fighters backs and shoulders all the time , the ropes or gloves graze the spot and it brings blood to the surface like hickeys on the neck .
LOL Ive never seen such a bunch of desperate crybaby's hanging on to anything , these contusions and abrasions on the body in boxing are extremely common .
Show us some then? Show me some purple/dark red markings on fighters bodies like the one linked in the video.
If you think it's just a coincidence that this mark is placed on his right shoulder, in the exact location of the rotator cuff then you're a spastic who can't admit a fighter was harboring a shoulder injury during the fight.
Chocolatito has the best jab because it sets up combination and thats what a jab is for in a pro fight.
The single jab you see from Wlad and Mayweather has become a "show" punch and it's use is more defensive these days. Against real quality both would get countered over the top or atleast up the middle. Their ordinary because their purpose is deminished.
GGG uses his appropriately put it's not a great jab. Khan does show a good jab when he's on the move laterially. He has good reach and he shows a good shoulder but when he's still he could get injto trouble.
The biggest problem with the jab punch these days is that most fighter land them at the very end of the punch. No one steps in to snap the head back, it's all about "tag your it" BS these days. Reminds me of amateur boxing.
Ray.
Golovkins jab not great?
He lands the highest of any active fighter at an average of 11 per round, above Wlad. Furthermore he doesn't waste jabs like Wlad or other fighters and has knocked fighters down with the jab alone. He's known for using power jabs constantly...
Anyway, statistically Golovkin has the best right now.
Pacquiao's only marginal success in the fight happened in the 4th and 6th round, well after the injury re-occurred (if the blurb about the video is accurate; didn't waste my time).
not sure how folks square that circle, but whatever.
He landed a left hand in the 4th, slightly stunned Mayweather and then unloaded with combinations. He's already clarified it happened in the 4th round after that combination when he backed up. So he won the 6th round injured, is that something that's impossible?
How do you square the circle that his right shoulder is clearly internally bruised and bleeding?

daggum needs to be put out to pasture and shot for his own good.
Pacquiao didn't even know who Golovkin was :lol1:
Pacquaio doesn't even watch boxing, it's been stated by Roach before.
Nice try though.
"I'm not a middleweight"
But I'll keep the WBC middleweight, force everyone who wants to fight me into a catchweight instead of the 160 limit while simultaneously evading my mandatory against a fighter whom has clearly earned his shot (GGG).
The fact he's going to give Canelo a title shot before Golovkin is disgraceful and just makes everything so chaotic. The kid can't even admit he's a middleweight despite fighting at 155 for his past 3 fights.
This is beyond pathetic, for the sport and for Miguel Cotto.
If Cotto isn't a middleweight, why does he insist on defending his middleweight title?
He wont reply, the guy is a coward and never replies to any response which directly counters his argument.
It's not subjective. Its mere fact. Golovkin can't be on PPV without a star name beside him. Isn't that his excuse for not fighting Ward?
Golovkin fans are completely delusional if they think he's anywhere near Cotto in terms of popularity. How much were the tickets for Golovkin's last fight in comparison to Cotto's?
I mean I could go on. The Pacquaio thing was just a throwaway example. And like I said, stars transcend boxing.
I stopped reading at "It's not subject. It's a mere fact."
Horrible way to begin any form of debate on a topic like this.
I don't know if he'll handle GGG's power, but the more I watch Cotto the more I like his chances. He is an absolute monster at MW. Definitely top 2 in that weight class.
Roach needs to get some credit here. This is possibly Roach's best job as a trainer. Cotto was on his way out after the Trout fight. He looked slow, hesitant, and just downright bad. He hooks up with Freddie, they move up to MW, and he's the best he's ever looked. I didn't want to give him full credit for the Sergio performance because I thought Sergio was totally shot, but after this performance against Geale he's established himself as a real threat.
Cotto a monster?
Geale got destroyed by Golovkin recently in his first stoppage of his career and was weight drained to 157. Take that into account before you go throwing the word "monster" around.
I was and I am a big critic of cw-s but please...
What's happening is really just the more biased half of Golovkin fans are just salty as fuck because Cotto beat Geale almost the same way as Golovkin did. I expected Geale to be a skeleton but he didn't look that bad on the weigh in compared to other weigh in photos of him and he didn't look a shot, drained fighter at all in the ring. Cotto was better than him, like he is classes above him. Golovkin is also classes above Geale. That's all. I don't think less of Golovkin now, I always knew that his weight class is a garbage except him and a few other guys. I maintain my opinion about Golovkin, that he is a very good fighter but also overrated here and we should witness him to fight a real elite opponent before we say that he is elite.
I don't like when GGG fanboys take the credit what's due from someone just because they are salty as hell that Cotto didn't fight GGG yet.
I also think that Cotto should drop that belt because he isn't mw and he shouldn't hold on that belt BUT firstly I don't see you crucify any other fighter who doesn't unify within a year after he wins a title and secondly Golovkin accepted to step aside so end of discussion...
When did Golovkin accept a step aside? It'd be best if you didn't make stuff up to support your opinion.
People who are stars transcend boxing, Golovkin has come nowhere close to doing that.
Oh please spare me your opinion on something that's clearly subjective. Give me something worthwhile to argue against or don't bother.
Pacquaio doesn't watch boxing, your point is moot, end of.
Manny's been carrying this injury since the De La Hoya fight. You can't turn around in 2015 and blame it for a loss.
I didn't see him struggle with his right hand. He may well have been carrying a niggling injury, as most athletes do, but did it cost him the fight? Hell no.
I also think Manny needs to decide whether he either:
won the fight 115-113
lost because of the shoulder, or
lost because Floyd 'ran' (read: wouldn't stand still and let me punch him).
He re-injured it during training in 2015, it was fine before then. Don't see how hard that is to understand.
Think Golovkin would beat Degale, if not on boxing ability alone sheer power and activity.
Take a round off against GGG and you'll probably get put to sleep.
http://www.************.com/boxing-mma/lemieux-hits-much-harder-than-ggg-says-de-la-hoya/7582
I'm not sure if that's true but he definitely hits with comparable power if not harder. The guy hits like an absolute mofo, I had a headache watching him pound on N'Dam(n). He still lacks in the boxing department so I favour GGG to beat him. But he has serious power and if he hits you in the chin, "brother you are going down"!
I personally think Lemieux shouldn't fight GGG yet, I'd like to see it but Lemieux has already had two career setbacks and you've just become champion so fight a few mandatories and then consider fighting the number 1 guy.
"He shouldn't fight Golovkin because he'd lose, let him milk his title for a few years before he faces GGG"
That's all I hear...
Like I told you yesterday, it's not just that he was throwing right hooks, but the type of right hooks he was throwing. He was throwing very strange, very long, very awkward right hooks over Mayweather's check hooks whenever Mayweather was escaping to the left. The angle of those punches and the frequency with which he was throwing them make it very hard for me to believe he had any kind of injury that was affecting his ability to throw with his right.
Unless you're a qualified doctor or physiopherapist it doesn't really matter what*is speculated. The injury happened, it commonly reduces range of motion and induces heavy pain, it doesn't make him unanbe to punch or use his arm. Also I think a boxer knows more about how he can effectively throw his hooks while injured than we do.
Dunno why people act like a tear in a rotator cuff isn't a serious injury among athletes.
In their statement the doctor or said that his shoulder will be fine by May 2nd.
His arm WAS fine in the fight. No one had any idea it was injured until they said it in the post fight presser.
So did he injure it during the fight or what?
If his arm was fine why would he be undergoing injections during training and avoiding sparring for close to two weeks?
Do you think he's going to have surgery just for the hell of it if his arm was/is fine? You think he'd have his body cut open and risk permanent damage if it wasn't serious? The most recent reports say its a serious tear and he requires surgery.
****ing use your brain and take off your tin foil hats. Manny and his team ****ed up badly, they performed badly, BUT he wad injured, and a torn rotator cuff is not a ****ing sprained shoulder like some of you seem to think. It matters, and your anecdotal evidence coming from people who probably don't even know how to throw a correct hook means nothing.
Go ask a doctor if a torn rotator cuff would effect his ability to generate speed, power and technique on a hook as well as other punches. You already know what he'd say, yet some of you act like you know better with your GCSE science qualifications.
Saul easily outpoints him if he plays it smart. EASY win.
Alvarez ain't outpointing sh1t, the guy has some of the worst stamina of all recent fighters.
Lara could barley beat Canelo and Anulgo, do people think think he has a shot against Golovkin? Next we'll be hearing how Anulgo isn't a larger version of Rios and a human punch bag.
:dead:
Stevens, obviously.
Canelo hasn't demonstrated real power in any of his fights, he's just very fast, explosive and accurate, which makes him look powerful.
He's also bigger than most of his opponents, I doubt he'd look so good against someone as big/bigger like Stevens has.
Surprised the majority are saying Canelo is getting steamrolled.
I think GGG has the edge, but I wouldn't exactly call it an open and shut case. Canelo has never been knocked down and hurt very few times in his career (Jose Cotto eons ago). He also fights more favorably against fighters that come to HIM.
I understand that the Chavez fight should have no bearing in forecasting how he'll perform against GGG, but Canelo has shown in the past that he has above average defense and (at least in 2013-2014), his +/- percentage was third only to Floyd Mayweather and Andre Ward.
At the time being, I'm still favoring GGG while waiting on the contract stipulations, but I'd like to think that Canelo has the skills, toughness, and heart to hang in there for the long haul and make his country proud, even if he loses.
I can't look at this and envision someone like Canelo just rolling over and being taken out of there like Brook. No way in hell.
Brook didn't roll over, he got his eye socket smashed in.
Also looking at plus minus from 2014 isn't going to help considering he fought punch bags like Angulo during that time.
He's going to land some great counters and flashy punches, but he's also going to realize they're not doing much to deter the constant jabs to the face and hooks to the body. As the fight goes later Canelo will begin to lose his reaction times and stamina from the constant pressure (just like Khan did to an extent) and Golovkin will begin to land punches to the head and body he wasn't able to in the first few rounds. I expect Canelo to be gassed and on the back foot like he was in the later stages vs Angulo, except he's going to be battered and bruised at the same time. In desperation he'll go to the ropes a few times, as he always does when he needs a breather and Golvokin will work him over.
